Around this time is when STN started to grow and reach people everywhere.

STN now a global operation has been able to reach people everywhere even though the tigers are located in mostly Asia and Africa.

At this time Leonardo DiCaprio found this organization and started to support it himself.

Since Leonardo DiCaprio started to support Save Tigers Now the foundation that he runs also started to support.

Leonardo and his foundation joined forces with the World Wildlife foundation and kicked off their expedition to visit tigers in their habitat and document them.

Also at this time it was the year of the tiger in the Chinese calendar. Leo and the WWF goal were to double the population of wild tigers by 2022 or the next year of the tiger.

By this time the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation had donated over $3 million dollars to the cause. This makes a total of over $39 million to help Save Tigers Now.
