Well, I finally finished this. It started well, got pretty boring, then became quite good, but finallyhad a disappointing conclusion. As classics go, this one just doesn't compare to the likes of Jules Verne or Jack London

I have choosen this book based on a recommendation by Mrs Le Heron and the fact that i find the title interesting.

I choose this book as the synopsis made me curious. The idea that everyoneis afraid of birds sounded really different.

The third and final book in the Juno of Taris series. The second book was ok, but nowhere near as good as the first book, so I am hoping that this book finishes the story strongly.

Hmmmm. A bit of an oddball this one. The major complication in the story was over and dealt with half way through the book, which was a bit weird. Overall I am not sure that Juno of Taris needed t have any sequels.

This story started out like a version of Cinderella. It became more and more interesting as the story progressed. Worth a read.
