Korean War
The Soviet Union and U.S. forces entered Korea and fought against Japanese forces. The Japanese surrendered and the Soviets and the U.S. decided that Korea should be split into two halves, North Korea and South Korea; However, the Koreans wanted to unite into one country. After war continuedt to scalate as the United States came to help South Korea which had a fairly small army, much fighting and trading of territories occured. Eventually, a cease fire was commenced and is still in effect today. -
