Achilles tries to please Apollo by getting Chryseis back to her father.

In turn for Achilles takeing chryseis back to her father, Agmemnon takes Briseis, Achilles prize of honor.

she told him to have nothing to do with the Greeks and that all the Gods were fighting over this war.

Menelaus and Paris fought untile Paris vanished. Menelaus then went through the Trojan ranks looking for Paris but couldnt find him. Agamemnon then declared tht Menelaus had won and Helen should be given back. This would have happend if Athena would have interfered causeing a man to shoot an arrow at Menelaus, starting the fighting again.

Zues started a fight in effort to end the trojan war. He made Agmemnon start fighting and this created a hugh fight. The two sides then stoped fighting and made Menelaus and Paris fight alone.

Diomedes was causeing trouble until Hector and Ares came to him. He wanted the greeks to fall back but this angered Hera. She convinced Diomedes to shoot and arrow at Ares taking him down. The Trojans fell back at this point

Zues promised Thetis he would avenge Achilles' wrong so he made all the Gods stay in Olympus while he helped the Trojans gain advantage and because Achilles wasnt there the greeks almost fled back to thier ships.

The Greek chieftans figured the reason they lost the war was because Achilles wasn't with them. They went to his ten where he was with Patroclus. They offered him treaures for him. He refused they're offer.

Zeus was helping the trojans get ahead so hera seduced him and poured sweet sleep on him. when he fell asleep the greeks got the upper hand.

Zues woke up mad. Hera blamed Poseidon. Zues belived her and ordered Poseidon to back down and he did this. The Trojans once again gained the advantage.

Patroclus wanted to give the Greeks the upperhand so he took Axhilles' armor and fought. Everybody thought he was Achilles though he didnt fight like him. He fought Hector 1 on 1 and lost. He was wounded fatally. Hector took the armor and virtually gained the power of Achilles.

Antilochus told Achilles of Patroclus' death. His mother came from her place in the caves of the sea to comfort him in his depressed state. He swore to avenge the death. His mother told him that she would have new armor made by morning, He told his army he would once again lead them, which he then did.

Achilles forced the Trojans back into Troy. He and Athena chased Hector around the city walls 3 times before Achilles drove a spear into Hectors gullet. After killing him he showed great disrespect to the corpse. Prian came begging for the body of his oldest son and Achilles showed mercy by complying.

After killing Prince Memnon and leading the Greeks into the city of Troy, Achilles was shot with an arrow by Paris. It hit his heal, the one part of his body inwhich he was vulnurable. This was the one part that wasn't covered by the enchanted waters of the river Styx, He was burned on the funeral pyre. His ashes were put with those of Patroclus. His arms were presented to Odysseus after a vote.

Ajaz felt disgraced for not getting the armor of Achilles. He decided to kill Agamomnon and Menelaus. Athena saw what he was doing and made him insane. He thought a herd of cattle was the Trojan forces. He killed many before he became sane again. Once he realized what he did, he was ashammed and embarassed so he killed himself with his sword.

A prophet told the Greeks they would not beat the Trojans until they aquired the bow and arrow of Hercules. Hercules died and his arms went to Prince Philoctetes on the Greek side. He was bit by a snake on his way to the beaches of Troy. He was left at Lemnos so Odysseus went to get the weapons, but he woke up and and showed up and killed Paris first.

After hearing of a sacred picture of Athena which was the only thing keeping Troy from falling, the Greeks sent Odysseus and Diomedes to steal it, they did so.

The Trojan Horse was a plan thought up by Odysseus. It was to have all the chieftains get inside a giant wooden horse Everyone else would "leave," while they left one behind to do the tricky part, convince the Trojans to take the horse into the city. They would say it was a trofy of sorts. In the middle of the night, the Hreeks would come out and take down the city from the inside. They would open the gates and let the rest of the army in and then burn Troy to the ground.
