King Philips War
This war was between the Colonist and Native Americans over land. The colonist were trading unfairly with the Natives and pushing them off their land. Metacom (King Philip) gathered other Natives to try and push the English off their land. After many battles, King Philip was caught and dismembered and his head displayed on a pole in Plymouth for 20 years. -
Bacon's Rebellion
Sir William Berkley the Royal governor in Virginia shortchanged the Dog Tribe. The Dog Tribe stole pigs to make up for being short-changed. Nathaniel Bacon made a militia to attack any Native Americans they saw. After a power struggle with Berekly Bacon with free slaves set Jamestown on fire. Bacon suddenly died ending the Rebellion. -
