Sand Creek Massucre 2
After awhile of the Indians pleading for mercy they stoped and went to the sick and wounded and killed them. THey did unspeakable to all of them including children sand babies and pregant wemon. Afterwards of winning people steped forward and sayed conflicting their heros welcome to sending them to be investigated. -
SandCreek Massacre 1
The Indians would attack the wagons and the trains that would come to the gold and the silver rush. So the American's presedent sent a volintere commander to stop the indians by murdering them. As time went on the Indians decided to set up next to them to give them a sign of their want peace but the American leaders supperior telegramed the to Keep attacking them because he believed they need to suffer some more. So the Americans went up to Sand Creek with 700 soldiers and killled them off all!! -
Fetterman Massacre
The Sioux leader Crazy Horse acted as a decoy and convinced the fort's commander to detach about 80 soldiers to pursue. Hundreds of warriors were waiting in ambush and wiped them out. -
Battle of Little Bighorn
Since the treaty had failed as well as the attempts to stop the fighting. They were promised the land, but the rumor of gold was around so a calvery was sent to investigate and soon they found out the rumors were true and so more people came and instead of protecting the rights of the indians they instead tried to buy them out but this failed but wanting a big victory the comender of a calvery sent out to defeat them but they underestmated them and they lost but but they fled anyways. -
Grange
Farms had trouble with money so the started the grange wich helped them start a library for the lonely and new farms get a living. The grage had lowered prices on transportation with the trains and ther products but in 1880 it failed for the presure on the state legistater from ther trains got to an extent that it faild but soon the farmers started the farmers alliance. -
Sioux Treaty of 1868
The Siuox thought the black hills were secret and the us goverenment decided tosend out a treaty that would in clude the black hills as a resorvation and would stop the wars between them but after a time a detachment of military went in the black mountians looking for gold soon after they faced the indians and they asked the us goverenment for portaection from the indians but after fighting about it the us goverenment cofescated the mountiuans and increased the wars between them. -
Ghost Dance
A spiritual dance to help the indians regain their former greatness. -
Wounded Knee
The indians went to wovoka for protection, where they heard of a dance that would help them regain there greatness. When the officials heard of this, they banded them, but the police went to Sitting Bull to arrest him, but killed him and the indians fleed to Wounded Knee. Where they fought and lost. That eneded the conflict between them with the indians being dead.
