    Great Chicago Fire
    The Great Chicago Fire a horrible event for them happened on October 8th, 1871, when a barn caught on fire in the city and quickly grew the fire large spreading from barn to buildings and down growing larger as it ran through.
    The Fire caused 300-400 people to die, and burnt for more then 24 hours destroying almost all the city.
    This event caused cities to start building out of other things then wood and stop polluting so much as since they did even the river caught on fire!
