Prehistoric incects known as Meganulon attack local miners near Kyushu. Around this time two giant monsters known as Rodan rise from that area to lay waste to Japan. The monsters are presumed dead when a man made volcanic eruption buries them at Mt. Aso. -
Varan: The Unbelievable
A giant monster is found hiding near the village of Iwaya. The JSDF drives it out and it flies to Tokyo Bay. Bombs are used to drive it away and Varen is presumed dead. -

Mothra
Infant Island is discovered to have inhabitants by a joint Japanese-Rolisican venture. When Rolisican capitalists kidnap the islands tiny twin priests, the Shobijin, the inhabitants' diety (known as Mothra) rises to get them back. After Mothra attacks Japan she flies to Rolisica and destroys New Kirk City. The Shobijin are returned to Mothra and they return to Infant Island. -
King Kong vs. Godzilla
An American sub crashes in to an iceberg Godzilla has been trapped in. Godzilla returns to Japan and fights King Kong. The battleworn monsters return to their homes after fighting at Mt. Fuji. -
Godzilla vs. Mothra
Godzilla is thrown back to Japan due to a hurricane. Japan asks Infant Island natives to defeat the monster. Mothra dies in battle, but her young defeat Godzilla, leaving him immobile underwater. -
Mothra Larva Dies
One of the Mothra larva dies not long after it's fight with Godzilla. (exact day unknown) -
Ghidorah: The Three Headed Monster
Godzilla escapes from underwater and one of the Rodans rises from Mt. Aso. Mothra is sent to enlist the help from Godzilla and Rodan to save Earth from the space monster King Ghidorah. The trio drive King Ghidorah away. -
P1 Expedition
Prior to take off the revelation of a planet hiding behind the dark side of Jupiter is revealed to the world. An expedition is quickly planned with a United States-Japanese joint venture. The technology results in the take-off of P1 which has the power and speed to reach the far planet. (exact date unknown) -
Adult Mothra
The young Mothra cocoons herself to become her adult form. During the metamorphosis, and an unexplained dormant period that followed her emergence, the Red Bamboo terrorist organization kidnaps natives from Infant Island to work at their base in the south pacific. -
Monster Zero
The P1 lands on Planet X and finds life: The Xians. The Xians raise the dormant Godzilla and Rodan from Japan and transport them to Planet X. Once in their care the Xians send them and King Ghidorah to attack Earth. After the Xians are crippled by Earth forces Godzilla and Rodan drive King Ghidorah off Earth and are MIA post-battle. -
Godzilla vs. the Sea Monster
Godzilla is found dormant on a south pacific island where the Red Bamboo is illegally producing nuclear weapons. After destroying the Red Bamboo base Godzilla briefly encounters a newly awakened Mothra who rescues the enslaved Infant Island inhabitants. Godzilla escapes the island just before it is destroyed by a nuclear blast. -
Son of Godzilla
Godzilla finds land on Sogell Island, answering the call of another of his species. Godzilla raises the infant and remains on the island. He goes in to hibernation after a weather experiment successfully changes the climate. -
Sogell Island becomes Monster Island
Godzilla and his son Minya wake up from their hibernation. The heat and mass of activity on the island is most likely what invites other monsters to live there. Rodan joins and a second, less aggressive Angirus appears. Other Kamakirus and Kumunga appear and monsters known as Baragon, Gorosaurus and Manda take refuge there as well. Sogell Island is soon dubbed "Monster Island." (exact date unknown) -

A young Japanese school boy has a vivid dream about befriending Godzilla's son. -
Godzilla vs. Hedorah
Godzilla leaves Monster Island to fight Hedorah. He leaves Japan badly injured. -
King Ghidorah Trade
In exchange for supplies the weakened Xians trade King Ghidorah to the aliens from Nebula Space Hunter M for King Ghidorah. The Nebula M aliens plan their attack on Earth. (exact date unknown) -
Godzilla vs. Gigan
Godzilla leaves Monster Island with Angirus to go head-to-head against King Ghidorah and the cyborg Gigan. Once the Nebula M aliens lose control of the monsters Godzilla and Angirus drive them off the planet. -
Godzilla vs. Megalon
Monster Island is devestated by nuclear tests, leaving the monsters in much danger. Meanwhile the underground kingdom of Seatopia enlists the help of Nebula M Space Hunter to destroy the surface. Godzilla is summoned to fight Gigan and Megalon by Jet Jeguar and drives them both away before returning home. -
Godzilla vs. Mecha-Godzilla
Godzilla again leaves Monster Island to stop the aliens from "The 3rd Planet to the Black Hole" and their mechanical doppleganger Mecha-Godzilla. The ancient guardian King Ceasar awakens to help Godzilla and the aliens momentarily hault their operations on Earth. -
Terror of MechaGodzilla
The Black Hole Aliens return to Earth with a Mecha-Godzilla 2 and get the help of a scientist to install an improved control system for the machine. The underwater dinosaur Titanosaurus is also forced to join Mecha-Godzilla's attack on Japan. Godzilla returns to Japan to destroy Mecha-Godzilla and defeat Titanosaurus. Godzilla then returns to Monster Island. -
Black Hole Aliens Extinction
With conquering Earth being their last hope the Aliens from the Third Planet of the Black Hole fade in to the abyss. (exact date unknown) -
Monster Relocation
Due to the nuclear devestation on Monster Island and the amount of times monsters have freely wandered from it, the United Nations Science Committee begin relocating the monsters to "Monsterland" along the Ogasawara Island chain. (exact date unknown) -
Moonbase
The United Nations Science Committe launches an expedition to the moon with plans to build a moon base. (exact date unknown) -
Kilaak Plans
The Kilaaks plan to take over Earth. They likely become in posession of King Ghidorah due to trading with the Xians. (exact date unknown) -
Destroy All Monsters
The Kilaaks unleash all the monsters from Monsterland and use them to lay waste across the world. The UN finally gains control of them and marches them against the Kilaak Earth base. King Ghidorah is sent to destroy the monsters, but is killed in battle. Godzilla destroys the Kilaak Earth base and the UN destroys their Moon Base. The monsters are then returned safely to Monsterland and remain there.
