Joseph Billie Gwin broke in KOOL-TV studios in Phoenix attempting to get airtime to prevent World War III. He takes four hostages. He releases 2 at first and than promises to release the two others if anchor Bob Close reads Gwin's 20 minute statement. Once Close finishes the statement he takes a hold of the gun and places it on the table. Gwin was arrested immediately.
