As early as the 28th Dynasty of the New Kingdom, Egyptians refer to Mars as "Horus of the Horizon", a God whom they depicted as a human with the head of a hawk. They also spoke of the planet travelling backwards, a reference to its retrograde motion.

Aristotle (384-322 BC), the Greek philosopher, happens to observe an occultation of Mars by the Moon. From seeing the Moon pass in front of Mars, Aristotle concludes that Mars is higher up in the heavens than the Moon.

Christian Huygens discovered a strange feature on the surface of the Red Planet. It was later called the Syrtis Major. We have been scared of Martians ever since. In 1802, one scientist was so convinced there was life on Mars that he wanted to draw huge figures in the snow to signal the Martians!

Mariner 9 visited Mars and sent back images of enormous volcanoes and vast canyons. It discovered Olympus Mons, now the most famous volcano not on Earth. This massive volcano could cover the state of Missouri, and reaches 15 miles above the surface! Mariner 9 also found evidence that water once flowed on Mars. However, there were no sightings of Schiaparelli's famous canals.

Two spacecraft named Viking I and II landed on Mars to study its surface. They analyzed the rocks and soil of the planet while providing us with information about its atmosphere and weather patterns. Even today we are exploring Mars. The Mars Global Surveyor made a map of the planet in 1997.

In January 2004, two robotic geologists named Spirit and Opportunity landed on opposite sides of the red planet. With far greater mobility than the 1997 Mars Pathfinder rover, these robotic explorers have trekked for miles across the Martian surface, conducting field geology and making atmospheric observations. Carrying identical, sophisticated sets of science instruments, both rovers have found evidence of ancient Martian environments where intermittently wet and habitable conditions existed.

MAVEN (Mars Atmospheric and Volatile EvolutioN) is the second mission selected for NASA's Mars Scout program, an initiative for smaller, low-cost, competed missions led by a principal investigator. Responsive to high-priority science goals listed in the National Academy of Science's 2003 decadal survey on planetary exploration, MAVEN is obtaining critical measurements of the Martian atmosphere to help understand dramatic climate change on the red planet over its history.

These dark, narrow, 100 meter-long streaks called recurring slope lineae flowing downhill on Mars are inferred to have been formed by contemporary flowing water.
-
The Mars 2020 rover mission is part of NASA's Mars Exploration Program, a long-term effort of robotic exploration of the Red Planet. The Mars 2020 mission addresses high-priority science goals for Mars exploration, including key questions about the potential for life on Mars.

The way MOXIE works is relatively straightforward: It will take the abundant carbon dioxide in the Martian atmosphere, which is made of one carbon atom and two oxygen atoms, and isolate one of the oxygen atoms. They will then combine the oxygen atoms together to make O2, which is what we breathe here on Earth.

A process of planetary engineering by which the surface and climate of Mars would be deliberately changed to make large areas of the environment hospitable to humans, thus making the colonization of Mars safer and sustainable.

Since the atmosphere is not as strong as the Earth, it is inevitable facing the serious devastation on human beings and the properties.

After forming to a tribe, the population is growing but the resources is still limited since more and more people moving to the Mars. Therefore, people started to explore many places on the Mars in order to search the better living place for human to survive. In this huge volcano, there is an entrance to enter the underworld that having a nice environment and the water for human.
-
Human's gene changed rapidly after moving to the Mars since the Mars H2O still not enough for human. In order to provide energy for the body, the number of the red blood cells decrease. Thus, when people have strong emotion appear, their skin will turn into the color blue.
-
Many new species be found in the underworld .
-
The population gradually saturated, some portion of the population migrant to the new finding location which is the underworld of Olympus Mons.
