Medina gives birth to another child. She dies in childbirth. Frex believes the child is his son. -

Glinda sets off for Shiz University. Her Ama steps on a nail and Glinda is forced to travel alone. On the train, she meets her future teacher Doctor Dillimond. -
The Accident leading to Friendship
Glinda accidentally offers a spot in her room to Elphaba. They both extremely dislike each other. -
Boq
Boq is introduced. He was one of Elphaba's childhood acquaintances. He falls for Glinda and helps form Elphaba and Glinda's Friendship. -
Madam Morrible
Madam Morrible is the head mistress of Shiz University. She is quite odd add and extremely strict. -

Animals are slowly losing their human characteristics. Elphaba, Boq, and Dr. Dillimond are trying to find a reason for this. They are working to find as much evidence as possible. They notice Dr. Dillimond is slowly starting to become more goat-like and less human-like. -
Dr. Dillimond's Death
Dr. Dilimond was murdered by one of Madam Morrible's assistants. Elphaba wants to make things right by confronting her about the animal hatred act. -
The Emerald City
Elphaba and Galinda set off to the Emerald City to confront the wizard. He doesn't budge and Elphaba joins the rebellion while Galinda returns to Shiz to complete school. -
St. Galinda's Chapel
Elphaba meets Fiyero five years after attending Shiz. He was an acquaintance of Elphaba. They begin an affair. -
War
They go to war and Fiyero dies. Elphaba and her newly born son go off into hiding. -
Nessarose's Death
Nessa gets a house dropped ontop of her. Dorthy has arrived. -
Galinda and Elphaba's Last Encounter
Elphaba comes to Nessa's funeral and runs into Galinda. They reconnect and Elphaba returns to her home. For Good -
Elphaba's Death
Dorthy accidentally kills Elphaba by throwing water onto her and melting her. -
