    The Bataan Death March was when Filipino and American soldiers were forced to walk 65 miles by Japanese solderers died because of the harsh conditions.

  • Doolittle's Raid

    Doolittle's Raid was a surprise air attack by the United States to Japan during World War Two in April 1942. it was the first time American planes bombed Japan.

  • Battle of Midway

    The Battle of Midway was a major naval battle in world war two where all the United States defeated Japan in June 9, 1942. it was a turning point in the Pacific war.

  • Leyte

    The battle of Leyte was a major world war two battle in October 1944 where allied forces began liberating the Philippines from Japanese occupation.

  • Iwo Jima

    The battle of Iwo Jima was a major battle in World war two where U.S forces captured the island of Iwo Jima from Japan in February 2, 1945.

    The battle of Okinawa was a significant world war two battle from April to June 1945 where allied forces fought to capture the island of Okinawa from Japan.

    The bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was when the U.S dropped atomic bombs on these two Japanese cities in August 6, 1945, leading to Japans surrender of world war two.

    The surrender of Japan was when Japan agreed to stop fighting in world war two, which happened in September 1945, which marked the end of the war.
