The Nazis were extreme racists and believed that Germans were the master race, and were superior among all others. Hitler was the leader and had his own ideas on how the world should be run.

155,000 American, British and Canadian troops landed on five beaches in Normandy. The forces quickly overcame the Germans. On Omaha beach Germans fought hard though. The Allies succeeded however 2,500 American were dead. The Allies took Paris again after four years of Germans occupying it.

130,000 people were kled in the fist bomb the American dropped on a Japanese base that caused mass damage. On August 14th five days after the second bomb dropped Japan surrendurs and it is known as V-J day.
