The cause of her wanting to be a pilot was when she went to a world fair, she saw a roller coaster and then made her own. Once going down her small homemade roller coaster she felt like she was flying and decided to be a pilot when she's older. -

In 1928 Amelia took the name of "The first woman to fly across the Atlantic" Amelia was the passenger of the plane, but the flight was still dangerous. She flew with Charles Lindbergh but had a safe flight, 14 people had tried the flight but they died trying. -
