Starting the CPR
In 1880 the canadian government was discussing about making a national railway that goes from one side of canada to the other. Than later in 1880 the CPR was officially started by a private company. -
Building the CPR
They started building the CPR on the eastern provinces in 1881. As they were building the CPR they faced a lot of and one of them was the labour. That is when the the chinese came to canada for some opportunities to help build the railway. Through out there time building the railway they faced a lot of racism
