On October 1, 1908 when Ford was away on a business trip, the first Model T was born. Then, Ford destroyed the car because he did not make it himself. The cost of the car was cheep, only $290 compared to Chevys at $645. Then he remade the car. The main reason it was so cheep was that it lacked things the Chevy had.
