They added sound into these movies/films in the 1930's. It was known for talkies and documentaries. they were successful at the box office. They adapted to an unmoving cam/microphone. -

Was not promising during this time, especially during the attack of Pearl Harbor. However during 1943-1946 film production rebounded and found it's profitable peak due to decrease of technical challenges. They began making more moies about the wars. -

The 1960's
The new decade in history had many changes. Cinema in the 1960's was about fun,fashion and rock n roll.It was also a decade of monumental changes and tragedies such as the Vietnam war, the assassination of JFK and other things. Only 121 films were released during this time. -
The 1970's
Started with a feeling of disillusionment due to the Vietnam War. Movies portrayed violent military themes. Was a creative high point. Restrictions on language, adult content, sexuality and violence loosened up. -
The 1990's
Cinema attendence went up due to the multi screen cineplex complexes throughout the U.S. Average film budget was about 54 million. They used special affects. The movies became so expensive to make. -
The 2000's
Turning point in film history with a strong use of special affects. The creation of IMAX theatre, blue ray discs amd HP discs as well as Ipods.
