Crash Course: Digital Recording & Sound Editing
In preparation for our first studio visits the CP team met in the Graduate Research Lab to get a crash course in how to use HD digital recording equipment and how to edit our 30minute conversations down to 5 minutes. -

Met the Social Design and Community Art programs at MICA Place to compare notes. Also we were lucky enough to be able to enjoy a presentation by Dan D'Oca and have a question/ answer session. -

Maryland Arts Council
Had a great discussion with the Maryland State Arts Council. They are really a fantastic resource. We'll have to work with them in the future.
They also have a great artist registry. Check it out! -
Seminar 9-12: Baker Foundation visits
Baker artist award came and talked about their grant proposal. We talked about the award winners at the BMA.
There is a plan to create a panel of curators to discuss the role of the curator. It is to be moderated and lead by our program.
We found out tonight that the National Museum Association will be in Baltimore in 2013, the year we have our Thesis shows! -
George Peabody Library
We enjoyed a great presentation today at the George Peabody Library. We talked about the organization obtained their collection of semi-rare books and how they preserve them. We also looked at the exhibition space just outside of the Library. -
