I flew to California by myself when I was 11 years old to visit my grandmother. -

I attended Pioneer Middle School. In 7th grade, my school burned down and so we had to share the other middle school across town. We went to school from 1:00-6:00pm every day for a year. It was nice to sleep in, but we got out of school really late and in the winter time it was dark outside before we got out of school. -

I attended Walla Walla High School. I was editor of the Yearbook for 3 years. I also was a part of SWEAT Jr, Girls League, student government, and planned our senior year homecoming dance. -

Walla Walla High School I graduated from high school and gave a speech in front of 1,000 people. -
Started college at Eastern Washington University
Eastern Washington University I was the first in my family to go to college. I started college at Eastern Washington University and worked in the academic advising office my freshman year. I majored in Spanish and elementary education. -

Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara Studied at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara. I was only suppose to be in Mexico for 3 months and ended up staying 8 instead. I was able to travel and visit a lot of places while I was there. -

Spring Break 2001
Chicago Visited my friend in Chicago for a week during Spring Break. I went up to the 103rd floor in the Sears Tower. You have to chew gum in the elevator so your ears wont pop because of the elevation. I also saw the Navy Pier, the Field Museum and the Aquarium. -
Thanksgiving Break
NYC I visited my best friend in Pennsylvania and while I was there we traveled to Ohio and New York City. In New York I went to the Thanksgiving Parade, the Today Show, Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge, and Ground Zero. -
Graduated from college
I graduated from Eastern Washington University after I student taught back home in Walla Walla at Blue Ridge Elementary School. -
Moved to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
I moved to Harrisburg, PA to live with 3 other friends right after I graduated from college. -
Visited Boston, MA
Boston I went to Boston, MA with my three roommates for 3 days. We saw all the historic sites, took a cruise around the harbor, rode in a limo, and went shopping. -
Started teaching at Rowland
Got my first teaching job at Rowland teaching 8th grade computers. -
Returned home for a visit
Went home to Walla Walla to visit family and friends for two weeks. -
Started teaching at MSA
Started teaching at MSA. We were at Woodward School my first year and I had to teach computers with old laptops that barely worked. We moved to Ben Franklin School my second year and have been here ever since. -
New Orleans and Arena Football Championship Game
Philadelphia Soul My first trip to New Orleans lasted for a week. I was able to visit Bourbon Street, try a po boy sandwich, eat a bignet, throw beads in a parade, and attend the Arena Football Championship Game. I also lost my cell phone. -
2nd trip to New Orleans
New Orleans I went back to New Orleans with my best friend for 3 days. We wanted to visit friends we had met the year before while we were there.
