After winning the previous two Grand Slam finals against Federer, the Spaniard went into his first title match at the Australian Open unable to move and dizzy, unable to recover from the semi-final thrashing (he needed 5h14m to beat Fernando Verdasco). The Spaniard beat the Swiss 7-5, 3-6, 7-6, 3-6, 6-2, who was playing to equal Pete Sampras's 14 majors and ended up crying at the awards ceremony, unable to contain his impotence. -
2ª WIMBLEDON
Nadal climbed to yet another Wimbledon final and finished 6-3, 7-5, 6-4 with Tomas Berdych (who had beaten the Swiss and Novak Djokovic) again reaching the tricky double. Nadal left London with eight major titles, tied with Andre Agassi, and hungry to increase those numbers, in impeccable form. -
5ª Roland Garros
After losing his place on the throne in Paris in 2009, defeated in the round of 16 by Robin Soderling (halting his 31 consecutive victories in the tournament), Nadal reappeared the following year ready to regain his crown. The Spaniard beat Soderling 6-4, 6-2, 6-4 to win his fifth title in Paris, regaining the world number one ranking and ending a period of disappointment that he successfully avoided. -
6ª Roland Garros
Rafael Nadal won his sixth Roland Garros after defeating Roger Federer in the final. In the 113th edition of the Roland Garros Tournament, Spaniard Rafael Nadal won the title after defeating his great rival, Serbian Novak Djokovic in the final in four sets: 3-6, 7-5, 6-2, 6-4. It was the second time that Nadal and Djokovic met in the final of this tournament. -

Rafa Nadal and Mery Perelló got married on Saturday 19 October of 2019 in an exclusive ceremony held at the Sa Fortalesa estate in Mallorca, in the presence of more than 500 guests. -
