Forget Frosty!
Jordan Blake and his sister, Nicole, are sick of the hot weather in Pasadena, California. Just once they'd like to have a real winter with real snow. And then it happens. The Blakes are taking a trip to Alaska! Mr. Blake has been asked to photograph a mysterious snow creature there. Poor Jordan and Nicole. They just wanted to see snow. But now they're being chased by a monstrous creature know as the Abominable Snowman. -
Chapter 1
Jordan Blake and his sister Nicole always wanted to see snow. Their dad had just returned from his trip to the Grand Tetons. -
Chapter 2
Jordan and Nicole sat outside underneath the scorching hot sun they have been feeling for years. Suddenly their dad tells them that he has a trip in Alaska. He told Jordan and Nicole that they have to come since there are no babysitters available. Jordan and Nicole were so happy because they finally get to see snow. They have to try to find the Abominable Snowman -
Chapter 3
Jordan, Nicole and their dad finally arrive in Alaska. They then meet a dog sledder named Arthur. Dad hired a man named Arthur so he can bring them closer to the Abominable Snowman. Arthur didn't really like the idea but Dad didn't agree to his warning. -
Chapter 4
Before Jordan and everyone else started to head out into the tundra, They wanted to have a nice hot meal in a little restaurant. Jordan asked Arthur if he knew anything about the Abominable Snowman. Arthur said that friends of his try to catch him. But, they never came back. Jordan and Nicole was now worried. All they wanted to do was to see snow. -
Chapter 5
Jordan and Nicole were having a snowball fight on the way to the nearest mushers cabin. Jordan was having so much fun until he falls into a deep hole. -
Chapter 6
Nicole, Dad and Arthur throws a rope down to Jordan. They pulled Jordan as quickly and as hard as they can. Jordan kept slipping but he managed to get himself up. -
Chapter 7
They managed to find the old mushers cabin. Jordan and Nicole went to go get firewood. At the pile of wood, there is a frozen lake right by the wood. When they got back they told Dad that maybe he'd like to go and photograph it. -
Chapter 8
Dad wakes up in surprise. Everyone wanted to see what surprised him. In front of him, were footprints that only a big monster could make. Arthur couldn't believe it and begged Dad to go back to town. Dad didn't want to but it seemed like the right decision. Suddenly, Jordan started laughing. It was a prank. -
Chapter 9
Jordan expected everyone to be laughing, but clearly they didn't laugh. Arthur was frustrated and went to check on the dogs. Dad told Jordan to not make pranks like that again. Jordan learned his lesson and everyone forgave him except for Arthur. -
Chapter 10
Dad went to go check on the frozen lake Jordan and Nicole found. Jordan and Nicole were bored. They decided to go outside the door to play in the snow. Until suddenly, they hear someone from behind the cabin. It was Arthur and the dogs who is now leaving the cabin. -
Chapter 11
Jordan and NIcole chased after Arthur. They noticed that they weren't as fast as sled. But they kept running. Arthur was gone. -
Chapter 12
Jordan and Nicole couldn't catch up with Arthur. All their food has also been taken as well. Jordan then realized they didn't know which direction they went. It was blizzard surrounding them. Jordan and Nicole tried following their footsteps until they both fall into another deep hole. -
Chapter 13
Jordan and Nicole notices a little hole that they can crawl through. They managed to crawl into a huge shiny cave. But, up ahead of them was a big creature who had the traits of a gorilla and a bear. It was the Abominable Snowman! -
Chapter 14
Jordan couldn't believe it. The myths of this creature were true. The Abominable Snowman was frozen still. It must've been in that cave for years. While it was still frozen, Jordan and Nicole tried to find a way out of the cave. Suddenly, the ice started to crack open. -
Chapter 15
The Abominable Snowman broke out. Jordan and Nicole panicked and tried to escape. The monster caught up and started to crush Nicole. -
Chapter 16
Jordan tried to stop the monster from hurting Nicole. The Abominable Snowman started to search through Nicole's backpack. He held up a bag of trail mix and ate it. Jordan threw his trail mix across the cave like he was playing fetch. Jordan and Nicole then ran through the cave until they notice an opening. -
Chapter 17
Jordan quickly ran to the exit. The blizzard has stopped. Nicole then notices the cabin up ahead. They both finally made it inside the cabin. They then heard footsteps. The Abominable Snowman probably followed them. -
Chapter 18
Jordan and Nicole ducked under the table. They held their breath as they listened to the footsteps. The door opens and they hear Dad's voice. -
Chapter 19
Jordan and Nicole were relieved. They explained how Arthur ditched them and took all their food too. They even explained that they found the Abominable Snowman. Dad wanted to find out for himself so he wanted them to show him. -
Chapter 20
Jordan, Nicole and Dad went back inside the cave and went to the Abominable Snowman. He was frozen again. Dad really wanted to take it home with him so he decided that he would put it in his trunk. -
Chapter 21
When they got back to the cabin, Dad wanted to call the airport with his radio so they can pick them up. Jordan and Nicole were relieved once again. They wanted to go back to Pasadena and sit under the scorching hot sun again.
