We left at 3:20 AM on April 20th.We flew to Chicago using American Airlines #910 and it took 3 hours and 35 minutes. -

The flight from Chicago to Ireland took 7 hours and 25 minutes, and we used Aer Lingus #124. The whole trip took 11 hours, which allowed us to catch up on sleep. We arrived in Dublin at 2:00 PM. -

Arrive at the Croke Park Hotel
We buy a package deal (plane ticket, car, hotel). We arrive at the Croke Park Hotel at 2:30 PM. From there we go to Lloyds (a common pub in Dublin, Ireland). -
O'Donoghues Bar
We stop for a refreshing drink at the O'Donoghues Bar. The bar featurea traditional Irish music, clothing, language, food, drinks, and artifacts. -
River Dancing
Afterwards we proceeded to sign up for the Special April Workshop (the River dancing tutorial) at the Dance Theatre of Ireland -
JackSepticEye
We were walking back to our hotel when we bumped into JackSepticEye ( famous Irish youtuber) -
The Sideline Bistro
Afret a long day we stop at the famous irish restaurant, "The Sideline Bistro". Here they served traditional food and cultural drinks. Once there, we order Oak Smoked Irish Salmon as an appetiser, and as our main course we order Pan Fried Duck Breast and as a drink we get Irish whiskey (very common in Ireland). -
Back to our room
Since the restaurant was located in the hotel, we simply whent up to our hotel room and slept the night away. -
Fly out of Ireland to Netherlands then to Indonesia
We flew out of Ireland at 6:00 A.M. The flight to the Netherlands was an hour and fifteen minutes, and we fly using Aer Lingus #602. -
Fly from Netherlands to Indonesia
We arrive in the Netherlands at around 7:15 A.M. We then fly to Indonesia using Singapore Airlines #952. The flight took nine hours and 10 minutes, so we arrived at around 4:30 P.M. Our hotel, Ascott Jakara, is 50 minutes away. We arrive at our hotel at around 5:20 P.M. -
We do our Indonesia challenge
For dinner we had Satay. This is a traditional dish to Indonesia that is any type of meat cooked over coal that is then covered in their traditional sauce. By the end of the mea, we are exhausted and we are off to bed. -
We explore Indonesia
We head out early in the morning to explore the CULTURAL LANDSCAPE (a geographic area the includes cultural resources and natural resources associated with the interactions between nature and human behavior). We go to Bali to see the rice terraces and water temples, which is an example of cultural landscape. -
Fly out of Indonesia to Dubai
After a long day of exploring the cultural landscape of Indonesia, we set off on our next journey to Dubai. The flight takes 8 hours and 25 minutes and we flew on Emirates Airlines #482. We left at 11:00 P.M. and arrive in Dubai at 8:00 A.M -
We check into the Burj al Arab
We check into our hotel at 8:15 A.M. We rest until around 10:50 A.M. then leave to go start our challenge. -
We complete our challenge for Dubai
We arrive at 11:00 A.M. Our challenge for Dubai was to visit a mosque that the Muslims would use to worship their god, meaning they are MONOTHEISTIC (believe in one god). Thy consider Friday to be the most sacred day to worship.The tour we took tookan hour and a half. By the time we leave, it's already 12:15. -
We tour for the rest of the day
The tour we took was a total of 4 hours and 30 minutes. We go back to the hotel for two hours since the tour starts at 2:30 P.M. We first start at 25.1971 degrees 41 degrees east, which is the ABSOLUTE LOCATION (the exact location of a place) of the Burj Khalifa, and are convieniently dropped off at our hotel. -
We prepare for our next flight
We get back to our hotel at around 8:00 P.M. We prepare for our next flight to Egypt, so we try to get some sleep before our flight at 2:55 A.M. -
We fly out of Dubai to Egypt
We leave at 2:55 in the morning fliyng with Emirates flight #923. We arrive at the Cairo airport at 5:00 A.M. We get to our hotel at around 5:30 A.M. Our hotels RELATIVE LOCATION (location of a place with respect to other places) is near the Nile river. Since it's still early in the morning, we catch up on sleep. -
We start our challenge
Our challenge for Egypt was to take a mummification class to see how the ancient Egyptians did it back then. The mummification process became a CUSTOM (The frequent repetition of an act, to the extent that it becomes characteristic of the group of people performing the act) to mummify people. -
Tour the pyramids
We are lucky enough to tour the pyramids. The PLACE (uniqueness of a location) of the pyramids is that they are located in what is considered a desert.After our tour, we head back to our hotel for dinner. -
Fly from Egypt to Spain to Brazil
We fly out of Egypt at 9:55 P.M. on TAP Air Portugal #7012.
We arrive in Barcelona,Spain at 1:25 A.M. -
Fly from Barcelona to Brazil
We then fly from Barcelona to Brazil. The trip takes nearly nine hours, so me arrive at 10:30 A.M. We are staying at the Brasília Royal Tulip Alvorada. By the time we check in, we are ready to start our challenge. -
We start our challenge
Our challenge for Brazil was to visit a chocolate farm and see how chocolate is made. Brazil has many EXPORT PROCESSING ZONES (designated areas of countries where governments create conditions conducive to export-orientated production). The way chocolate was made was very interesting. -
We relax for the remainder of the day
We relax for the remainder of the day as we are returning home and there is nothing else to do. -
Prepare for our journey home
We prepare for our final flight from Brasilia to Miami. We pack are bags and are ready to say goodbye to this wonderful trip. -
We arrive home safetly
We leave at 11:59 A.M. and arrive at 4:48 P.M. We fly on U.S. Airways #382 and this is the last flight of our journey.
