Our relative and her friends helped us get ready to take part in Carnival by doing our makeup and designing costumes consisting of huge feathers and colorful patterns. -

Challenge #1: Taking part in Carnival
When we arrived in Rio de Janeiro in the nation of Brazil after a long, 8 hour flight from Miami, we went to take part in the famous, annual Carnival festival. A distant relative of ours invited us into her house in an ethnic neighborhood to take part in her cultural customs. After eating a meal and singing folk songs, our relative’s friend dressed us in costumes to take part in the Carnival parade right outside of her front door. While dancing through the streets of Rio, we sang along to differ -
Flight to Dublin, Ireland from Brazil
We took a 15 hour flight that had very bad turbulance from Brazil to Ireland across the open sea. We slept for 6 hours. -
Cab ride to Wicklow Mountain
We were picked up in an Audi!! It was so nice to be sitting in a clean car that was on the ground after a rough flight. -
We arrived at Wicklow Mountain Range
The mountain range was spacious and the air was crisp. -
Challange #2: Hike, Kilts, and Bagpipes
We got the chance to take a 2 hour hike to a village on the mountain range. After we arrived at the Village which had an extremely large amount of activity space, we bought three kilts and three bag pipes which the natives in the village use to play Folk Music. The Native taught us to play the Ireland National Anthem on the bagpipes while we wore the very beautiful kilts. -
Travel back to the hotel
After also learning the history of the bagpipes, we took another 2 hour hike back down the mountain. When arriving at the bottom, a cab was waiting for us for an hour ride to The Westbury Hotel to sleep located at The Westbury Mall, Grafton Street, Dublin 2, Ireland. -
Flight from Dublin, Ireland to Dheli, India
The flight from Dublin, Ireland to Mumbai, India took 13 hours and costed $1,552 for all three of us. We slept 7 hours of the flight. -
Cab ride from Airport to Sari Shop
We took an hour cab ride from the Airport to a Sari Shop which costed $60. -
Challenge #3: Making Saris in Dheli
When arriving at the Sari shop which is located at Shop No 3, Opp Hindu College, Kashmere Gate, Delhi, Delhi 110006, a lady took us to the back to teach us how to make cultural Saris which women wear draped across themselves. Sari is as old as the civilization of India. Known records date back to at least before Christ. Cotton was grown and woven into fabric in India five thousand years ago. Sari was worn by women in various draping. styles. Men also used to wear cloths similar to sari. -

Flight from Dheli, India to Beijing, China
We took a flight on China Southern Airlines from Dheli, India to Beijing, China which was 16 hours and priced $1,312 -
Cab ride from airport to makeup factory
We rode in a cab from the airport in Beijing, China to a Makeup factory also in Beijing China called Tonnie Cosmetics. The cab ride was 30 min, 25 miles and cost $20. -
challenge #4: Protest animal testing
For this challenge we have to go to a facotry in China that produces makeup and protest against the testing of it on animals. The testing of animals is a push factor and should not be allowed. The factory is big so we should have plenty of activity space to protest. We will also ask a native to help us transform our signs into the language of China. we protest for 10 hours. -

The flight is 19 hours long and cost $1,697.00 for all of us to fly there. The airline is Korean air. We will sleep for 12 hours while on the plane. -

FINAL CHALLENGE #5: feed komodo dragon, songkok.
In this challenge we will attemp to feed a komodo dragon (a very popular animal in Indonesia) while placing a songkok on its head. The songkok is a hat that many people have for many years and still do wear in Indonesia. it helps develop the peoples culture identity. The komodo dragon is vicious animal and a very rare or underpopulated one also. Thats what makes this expeirience so life changing. We will have to rely on possibilism to make sure the komodo dragon does not attack. -
