Hayden and Benjamin Edwards wanted a free Texas from Mexico and its goverment. The Edwards brothers went to get people for the reblion. Once the Mexcio heard about this the immediatly sent troops.Including the Mexico troops Stephen F. Austin also helped the Mexican goverment.Once the Edwards brothers heard about the Mexican government the brothers ran away.

Stephen F. Austin get arrested for sending a letter to Texas that the letter says he hates the Mexican goverment and how it works. When he sent the letter it got read. He was sent to jail immediatlly with no jury.
