In this meeting the main issue was "which measures should be taken by the arab countries after israel started pumping water from the Jordan River to the Negev."
At the end of the confernce it was decided to divert the water into the Yarmuk River, thus utilizeing 60% of the Jordan River and preveting Israel from stealing our water. -

As the work on the divertion canal started, Israeli forces began a non-stop shelling of work sites, until the work stopped. We, the Arab countries, werent ready to go into war with israel over water. Israel continued to pump our water to the Negev.

Several Palestinian guerrilla fighters crossed the Jordanian border and various points and attacked many Israeli military targets. In most cases, the Israeli forces killed or detained them. -
The attack on Al-Samu'
Under the pretense of fedayeen fighters penetrating the border, israeli forces commited a horribale massacre on the village of Al Samu'. they killed many villagers and throw other out of their homes (which they later blow up) the village was located in a way that prevented jordanian forces to get there before it was too late. -

Jordan takes Jabal Al- Mukabber
Jordan troops take Jabal Al- Mukabber, yet leave Mt. Scopus at the hands of the Israeli enemy. Had it not been for this tactical mistake Jordan would have manage to keep Jerusalem or at least hold off the Israelis for a longer period of time. -

7:45, Israel attacked all Egyptian air bases, thus decalring war. -

Israel took over the Jerusalem and the West Bank
Israeli forces took over the hills to the north of the village "Beit Hanina", opposite Tel Al-Ful, and Nabi Ya'kub camp to the north of Jerusalem, thus taking control over the Jerusalem- Ramallah road and the surrounding area. This was a key area for the occupation of Jerusalem. -
Israel takes Khan Yunis and Gaza
After a long difficult battle and despite our (the Arab forces) strong defence, the Israeli forces managed to take both cities by the evening of the third day of fighting. -

Israel took over Sharm El-Sheikh and opened the Strait of Tiran for shipping, consequently ensuring Israels freedom of navigation to the port of Eilat.

The expulsion of Syrian citizens and Palestinians.
As a result of the war more than 250,000 of our people, Palestinians, were expelled to Egypt, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon. In addition, 150,000 Syrian citizens were expelled to Innocent Syria from Kunaitra and the Golan Height.

Jerusalem is annexed to Israel.
The israeli authorities, against international law, approved a law annexing Jerusalem to the State of Israel, based on which all Arab residents are now governed by Israeli legislation. -
Three No's of Khartoum
In an Arab summit conference held in khartoum a resloution called "Three No's of Khartoum" was concluded. The reseultion is as follows:

The Security Council publishes Resolution 242
Resolution 242 is a resolution made by the Security Council which advocated the withdrwal of israeli forces from territories occupied in the recent confilct, a just settlement of the refugee problem, and the right of every state in the region to live in peace within secure and recognized boudaries, None of which was achieved for our people. -
The PLO is recognized as the Paletinians sole representative.
After the war, we realized that we must organize independently from the other Arab states and take matters into our own hands. We have recgonized the PLO as our sole and legitimate representative to take on the reins of the resistance.
