    After about a year of pure madness, Montezuma, after being captured, was held out in front of the public by two Spanish soldiers. When the Spanish attempted to "protect" Montezuma, he was stoned, suffering from injuries to the head, leg, and chest. After being treated a little, Montezuma promised that he was alright, but died soon after.
