Saul gets anointed

So Samuel anointed Saul. When he was searching for donkeys. He did not think he was good enough to be king

Saul is king

Saul got anointed he reigned over Israel. He reigned for 40 years. And he was a good king in the beginning of his reign. But then in the end he was not a good king. Because he sinned and He was rejected.

Saul sins

Saul sinned and he got his kingdom ship away from him. The sin that he did was he decided to go against Gods instructions.

David Anointed

1029 BCE

Samuel anoints David. But Samuel knows that Saul is going to be mad. So he tells David not to tell anyone.

Saul is rejected

So Saul sins and God did not like that. So he told Saul that he can not be king anymore.

David slays a Loin

1027 BCE

So David was tending his sheep, and a lion approached. So he gapped his slingshot and a stone and killed the lion.

David plays for saul

Saul had a demon in him. So he ordered David to play the harp for him. And he help sooth him.

David kills goliath

When David was just a shepherd boy he killed a 12 foot giant. And everyone was afraid of Goliath. And no one wanted to fight him and then David volunteered to.

Saul chases David

So Saul finds out that David is going to be king next. So he is trying to kill him. And David is running for his life.

Philistines invasion

So when Saul was chasing David he practically let the philistines invade.

Jonathan dies

Jonathan died in a battle. He was David's best friend. The battle he died at the Battle Mount Gilboa.

Saul dies

Saul dies in the same battle that Jonathan dies. The battle was called the battle of Mount Gilboa. But he committed suicide.

David crowned king

David goes to live in the palace and officially became king.

Bathsheba

So David's friend was at war and he went on his roof. And he heard someone singing and asked who it was. And his servant said it was the house of Uriah so it was Bathsheba. And so he told his servant to go and get her. And they slept together.

Davids Child dies

Nathan the prophet said since he slept with another mans wife the son that comes out of it will die. So when the son was still alive David would not stop crying. Then when the baby dies David starts rejoicing.

Amnon and Tamar

Amnon fell in love with his sister. But she is not allowed to marry her bc he is her brother. So he tricked her and raped her.

Absalom reconciled David

So Absalom returns from exile but does not see the face of David for 2 years. He tries to gain a hearing but Joab turns away until Absalom's setts Joabs field on fire. Absalom finally sees his father. The reason why is bc he killed Amnon.

Solomon is crowned king

Solomon is crowned king but David is still alive. And he was a good king. And he was a good king in most of his reign. But towards the end he turned bad.

Solomon becomes king

Solomon became king he reigned over Israel. And he reigned for 40 years. And he was good king mostly but then he had 700 wives and 300 concubines.

David dies

So David dies of old age. And even though he did not live a holy righteous life he still lived a more righteous life.

Solomon asks for wisdom

God told Solomon that he could have one thing that he wanted. And Solomon said that he wanted wisdom.

Solomon's temple

Solomon built his temple for the lord. The temple was covered in gold.

King Hiram

King Hiram was probably one of the people that did the most work in the temple. And he was part of the very very wealthy king.

The visit of Queen of Sheba

The queen of Sheba came and wanted to see Solomon. And solomon gave her whatever she wanted. And she gave him gold.

Solomons Fall

Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines'. And they all worshiped idols and then he started worshiping them.

Solomons death

Solomon dies and everyone mourns. He died by old age. No one knows if he repented so he might be in hell. He died 40 years after he sinned

Jeroboam

He became king but then he also sinned. And he died and obviously got the crown took from him. He reigned over Israel and he reigned for 22 years.

Rehoboam

He became king and then he sinned. And so he got his crown taken away from him. He reigned over Judah and he reigned for 17 years.

Omri

He reigned over Israel and he reigned for 12 years. And he did not do good in the eyes of the lord.

Asa

He was crowned king and reigned for 41 years. He reigned over Judah. His mother's name was Maacha. He worshiped God and he did what was right in the sight of God. He was considered for the most part a righteous king.

Nadab

He became king and reigned for two years. He reigned over Israel. He is the son of Jeroboam and he did not follow God.

Baasha

He became king of Israel. He was the son of Alijah. He reigned for 24 years. He was not a good king.

Ahab

Ahab became king and he was evil in the eyes of the lord. He reigns over Israel. He was the son of Amri. He reigned for 22 years.

Elah

He was the son of Baasha. Reigned over Israel. He reigned for 2 years. He did not obey God. And he was a evil man.

Abijah

He reigned for 2 years. He was not a good king. He did not follow God's rules. He reigned in Judah.

Zimri

He reigned over Israel. He reigned for 7 days. He was the one that killed the king.

Jehoshaphat's battle

873 BCE

The battle was against the Moabites and Ammonites with some of the Meunites came to make war on Jehoshaphat. The great battle at Ramoth Gilead was a catastrophe. Only through the intervention of God did Jehoshaphat escape. Ahab was killed by an enemy arrow.

Jehoshaphat's reign

870 BCE

He was known for strengthened Judah militarily by building an army and many forts. His father was Asa. He was a good king.

3 and a half years of no rain

866 BCE

So God told Elijah to tell the people that since they have been evil in the eyes of the lord, you guys will not have any rain for 3 and half years of no rain.

Mount Carmel

So Elijah challenged the people that worshiped baal to prove if he was real or not. So they each built an altar to see which one would set on fire. And obviously God won.

The mountain of God

He asked to die but he was running away from Jessabelle because she wanted to kill him. an angel makes him a meal and he eats it. And then Elijah runs away to a mountain. God made a earthquake and and a thunderstorm, but God was not in it. But then he heard a soft voice and God was in that. And Elijah feels lonely.

Ahab's war w/ Ben-hadad

Ben-hadad sends a letter to Ahab saying give me your gold, children, wives and silver. And ben thought that Ahab was a wimp. So they go to war and ben lost twice.

Ahab and Naboth

852 BCE

Ahab goes home and sees a vineyard and wants it. And he said he would pay for whatever he wants. And Naboth refuses to sell. Then Ahab goes home and pouts and cries and Jessabelle spreads a lie and then Naboth dies.

Ahaziah

852 BCE

He reigned for twenty nine years. And he worshiped God in the beginning and then he went to war and kept their idols. And God said that since he did that he will lose every battle.

Ahab dies

850 BCE

He goes into war and a man on the other side was just shooting arrows randomly and one hits him and then he dies before he can go home and the dogs lick up all the blood that was in Ahab.

Ahaziah's reign

850 BCE

He became king he was not good in the eyes of the lord. He gets hurt in war and his soldiers sent an offering to a god. Since he did that he dies.

Jehorams reign

849 BCE

Jehoram kills all of his brothers and princes. Jehoram had six brothers. He was king for 8 years. Jehoshaphat was his father. Jehoram was 32 years old when he became king. He got attacked by Edom and the Philistines and they were the ones who stole his wives and kids. His family and Jehoram get an incurable disease. Jehoram dies from the disease and he was in great agony. He was buried in the city of David but he was not buried in the tombs of the kings.

Elijah goes to heaven

It was time for Elijah to die. So God sent down a chariot that was in a whirlwind. It was on fire and he went up to heaven.

Elisha feeds 100 men

847 BCE

Elisha changed a pottage made from poisonous gourds into wholesome food. He fed a hundred men with twenty loaves of new barley, leaving some leftover, in a story which is comparable with the miracles of Jesus in the New Testament.

Elisha Miracle of the floating ax head

So the people that went to the school wanted to add on so they decided they were going to build on and someone was cutting down tree with an ax and the ax head flew off and he was in trouble because it was buried. And so then Elisha threw a stick in the water and the ax head floated up.

Elisha prevents the Syrian ambush

Elisha told the young man to not be afraid. He said that the army fighting for them was much bigger than the army fighting against them. Elisha asked the Lord to show the young man what Elisha saw. The Lord showed him a heavenly army with horses and chariots of fire to protect them.

Jehu

Jehu is anointed. He is a bad king. But God talks good about him. He was told to kill the house of Ahab. He reigned over Israel for 28 years.

Athaliah

834 BCE

She is a queen. She is the daughter of Ahab and Jezebel and wife of Jeham, king of Judah. After the death of Ahaziah, her son, Athaliah usurped the throne and reigned for seven years. She massacred all the members of the royal house of Judah except for Joash.

Jehoahaz

Jehoahaz was a crowned king. And he reigned for 17 years. Jehoahaz besought the Lord for a deliverer to relieve Israel from Aramean oppression, and He provided a savior for Israel, who is not named. The Arameans were defeated, but this left Jehoahaz with an army reduced to 50 horsemen, 10 chariots and 10,000 foot soldiers.

Joash

He became king and he was the youngest king ever. He reigned for 40 years. Jehoash was eventually assassinated by his own servants at Beth Millo, and his assassination is portrayed as an act of revenge for the blood of Zechariah, the son of Jehoiada. Jehoash was buried together with his fathers in the City of David, although he was "not (buried) in the sepulchers of the kings".

Jehoash

He built the upper gate of the house of the Lord and did much building on the wall of Ophel. And he also built cities in the hill country of Judah, and forts and towers on the wooded hills.

Hoshea

He became king through a conspiracy in which his predecessor, Pekah, was killed. He was evil in the sight of the lord.

Ahaz

He became king and he did what was evil in the eyes of the lord. He reigned for 16 years. He reigned over Judah.

Hezekiah

He was a good king. He reigned over Judah. He became king at 24 years old. And he reigned for 29 years.

Manasseh

He reigned over Judah. And he did what was evil in the eyes of the lord. He reigned for 55 years and he became king when he was 12. Then when he went into slavery and repented.

Josiah

He was eight when he became king. He reigned 31 years. He reigned in Judah. In his eighth year he seeked the ways of david. In his eighteenth year he kills bad people. Then Hilkiah found the book of the law. Huldah prophesied there would be disaster. Josiah then in their hearing all the words of the book of the covenant that had been found in the house of the lord. On the passover the slaughtered the passover lamb on the fourteenth day of the first month. The way that Josiah died was in war.

He was the son of Josiah and he was the king of Judah. He became king when he was 23 years old. And he reigned for 3 months. And he did what was evil in the eyes of the lord.

Jehoiakim

He became king when he was twenty five. He reigned for 11 years. And he did what was evil in the eyes of the lord.

Jehoiachin
