John Locke was born in Wrington, England where his mothers family resided. His mother died when he was very young, so he was raised by his father who was an attorny (Butcher 478). -

The English Civil War began in 1642. it was sart because King Charles II raised his royal standard in Nottingham. The country was split into two sides,those who supported the king and those who supported the parliament. The war ended when Carles was executed on January 30th, 1649. The Ming Dysnasty of China, came to an end in 1644. However it began in 1368 and lasted for almost 300 years. During the Ming Dynasty, the Chineese spread their culture all over East Asia, as well as the Turks to the west, and Vietnam and Myanmar to the south.
