    on this day Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria, heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne and his wife Sophie, Duchess of Hohenberg were assassinated in Sarajevo on 28 June 1914 which led to world war one because Austria thought serbia had somthing to do with it.

    This is the day that U.S really joined the war by sending 14,000 men to France as the first batch of troops to fight in the war and all the troops were untrained and not ready for combat. But the U.S sent them in anyway. Which led the British and U.S to advance in the war.

    This day there was a treaty signed between the Allies and Central Powers which had stated that the Allies had won the war and that the Central powers had lost it and that they would only act good from now on.
