Israel and the PLO signed a DOP. Israel withdrew military from the Gaza Strip. Both sides accused the other of not fulfilling the agreement in the DOP.

U.S. helped Jordan and Israel achieve peace. The two countries began interacting more. Israel and Jordan didn't have as much tension and it improved both countries.

Caused by Ariel Sharon visiting the Jewish Temple Mountain. Palestine Israel suicide bomb Israel. Many Palestinians and Israel civilians were killed and Israel became weak because of the suicide bombing.

Hezbollah crossed the Lebanon-Israel border to attack Israel and use "human shield strategy". Many civilian neighborhoods were destroyed and Lebanon's transportation infrastructure was damaged.

Hamas attacked the PLO. Mahmoud Abbas dissolved the Hamas government. Western sanctions were lifted. Hamas controlled Gaza and the Palestinian Authority controlled the West Bank.

Israel attacked Hamas in Gaza to stop the rocket attacks on Israel and disrupt terrorist infrastructure. Gaza's buildings and economy were damaged and many civilians were killed.

Turkey sent six ships to break the blockade. Israel was able to take control of the ships. The alliance between Turkey and Israel was broken and tension rose.
