On this day, I entered the world. I was born in Silvis, Illinois. -
Preschool Graduation
I graduated from Thomas Jefferson Preschool in Moline, Illinois. This was one of my first memories that I still remember. -
Spending the summer at my friend's house
Before we moved to Chicago, I spent the summer at my friend's house. It was very memorable and it made it easier for me to adjust to the environment in Chicago. I became more open-minded about the fact that I was moving and that summer made me realize adaptability is a part of life. -
Moving to Chicago
I moved to Chicago at the beginning of kindergarten in 2013. I moved from Moline, Illinois, and this was a new, exciting step, moving from a small town to the big city! -
My first memory of traveling to Morocco
My first memory of traveling to Morocco was in the summer of 2014. I remember I was 6 years old and I was very excited to see my extended family for one of the first times. It was a very memorable moment and a very fun summer! -
Trip to Wisconsin Dells
I went to Wisconsin Dells for the first time in summer 2016 with my family and our family friends. I greatly enjoyed my time there, since I love swimming and any type of water park similar to this. I was also happy to be traveling with my friend and spend extra time with her. -
First Trip to NYC
I traveled to New York for the first time when I was 8 years old. I was excited to see different parts of New York and explore a different city for the first time. -
Playful
When I was younger, my friend and I used to play with many different toys. We used to make slime a lot of the time and we would play with the slime we made almost every time we hung out together. -
Curious
I mostly expressed my curiosity when I was younger. My friend and I used to go in her backyard and search for different types of bugs. We would be very intrigued by all the rollie polis we found and we would investigate these insects closely. -
Summer 2019
During summer of 2019, I had a lot of fun with my friends. I remember sleeping over at my friend's house almost everyday and we used to swim in her pool all the time as well. My friends and I were involved in the TikTok trends at the time as well, such as DIY Trampoline Forts, and cherry slushies. -
Covid-19
Covid-19 was a global pandemic that had a hold on all of our lives. I was in 7th grade when we had to go into lockdown, and I experienced online school for the first time. I went through many mental issues throughout this time and struggled. -
Creative
During quarantine, I would express my creativity by trying out different activities. One thing I enjoyed trying out during this time was knitting and drawing. I would have a lot of extra time on my hands, so I was able to spend a lot of time working on these. -
Caring
I display my caring attributes in many different ways. One example of this is when I went to Chicago Mosque and others along with me we gave flowers and thank you cards to the neighbors near the mosque. We wanted to do a kind act for them and thought this was a nice way to do it. -
Generous
Another moment in 2022 is when I went to Chicago Mosque with my sister and we packaged care gifts for people in need. We went to many different places around the city and gave care packages with food and hygienic products. -
8th Grade Graudation
I graduated 8th grade on June 13, 2022. I was excited to step into a new stage of my life going into high school! -
Studious
When I entered high school in the fall of 2022, I realized that I had to focus on my school work and attempt to raise my grades. I was struggling a lot in 8th grade so I decided to work on my studying and become more studious and hard working in school. -
Loyalty
I express my loyalty towards my friends whenever I talk with them and listen to their feelings. Through listening to them, I can build trust and I often did this with my friends last year. I was able to be a comfort to them and I was able to build stronger relationships through this. -
Helpful
Whenever I'm at home and my mom or my sister needs help with something, I'm almost always there to help them. Things such as cleaning, cooking, or just helping them out in general. -
Organized
When I'm working on something either at home or at school, I always like to keep an organized space. This helps me think clearly and keeping a clean and neat area helps declutter the minds of people around me as well. It benefits myself and others. -
Humorous
Everyday usually during lunch or on the weekend when I'm hanging out with my friends, I often try to find a way to add a humorous aspect to whatever I say. My friends sometimes tell me my jokes are funny or just the way I talk is humorous. Whenever I spend time with my sister as well we usually end up laughing at each others jokes most of the time.
