Boston Massacre (The Bloody Massacre)
An angry mob roams the streets of Boston. A Redcoats fire and kill several colonists. This outrage spreads and is soon known to the 13 colonies. -
Boston Tea Party
The anger of the colonists causes taxes to be repealed, except on tea. Rebels dump over $1,000,000 of tea in Boston Harbor. The British respond by shutting down Boston Harbor. Because of this, hundreds lose their jobs. -
First Continental Congress
56 delegates gather. It’s the first step to American democracy. Among them are John Adams, Patrick Henry, and George Washington. -
