    King Henry VIII before he became King:
    King Henry VII was born on June 28th 1491. He was the second son of Henry VII. In his youth he was highly athletic and intelligent. He did things like tennis, hunting, and he also enjoyed writing both books and music. However, we don’t know much about henry’s childhood because his brother, Arthur was supposed to become king but he ended up dying.

    - She recorded to be pregnant a total of 7 times and only one child survived.
    - Her first pregnancy was a miscarriage and the second time around her child lived for only 52 days, after a couple more tries they finally had a daughter named, Mary.

    In his early years of reign, King Henry VIII was a devote Catholic who supported the Pope. However his view of the Catholic Church would soon Change. Unhappy that his first wife, Catherine of Aragon was unable to have a male son, he wanted an annulment from her. Unfortunately for him, the Pope refused his request because divorce was not allowed in the Catholic religion. Angered by the Pope’s decision, Henry VIII decided to create his own separate Church of England.

    Once Henry and Catherine divorced Mary was no longer a princess, she was known as “The lady Mary”. --There was a total of four plots to get Mary off the throne and Elizabeth on.-Mary married Prince Phillip of Spain two days after first meeting him.- 275 people died from being what Mary saw as a heretic, and that was why she gained the name “Bloody Mary.-Mary had a phantom pregnanc, twice once early in her reign and once when she was 42 before she died.

    -She became queen in 1558, but she never married although many believed she had numerous affairs with people.
    -Because of her mother’s execution, Elizabeth vowed to never marry anyone in her life.
    -Although Henry VII executed her mother, Elizabeth was very fond of him and she honored his memory after he died.
    - During her reign, many new lands were explored in the new world. Additionally, she repealed the Catholic legislation.
