Growing up I had a really bad habit of scratching my face... Actually- I still do.
-
Me and my brother, Joe. He had the habit of posing for every single photo.
-
Look at those fat rolls! After a couple decades they went from my arms, to my torso.
-
I was baptisted twice; once as a Catholic in the PI, and months later in the US as a Baptist. Now a days, I find my self believeing in the outright cleanliness and cleanliness of a frugal and industial life. Not one second should be believed to be uneventful. That's what I believe in.

Look at that beret! Baby RJ got style!

We seldom celebrated Easter growing up. Some years we would do nothing and some years we had egg-painting, scavanger-hunting, and cake-filled parties.
-
Solvang! Aebleskivers will always be a comfort food of mine because of our weekend trips to Solvang. We would start with a couple orders for the family... then go back and order several more orders. We ate these at the same rate we breathe in air. I absolutely love Aebleskivers.

Our family did weekend trips to SF. One trip, my dad parked at the pier and a man dressed like a cop gave my dad a ticket for not smiling. If you knew my dad, you would immediately start laughing. The most awkward jeers insued. That is one of my most memorable laughs...
-
I remember always asking my dad for a couple quarters so I can feed the birds of the dock. Joe and I would buy endless amounts of candy, eat foot-long corndogs, and enjoy big fluffy cotton candy. We vistied London Bridge when we were older, and it totally changed. Sometimes you grow up and things change more than you do.

Ah, Vegas baby! My parents love Vegas. They don't gamble or go to any of the shows, but I think they enjoy getting away from the hustle and bussle of LA. Now that we own a couple houses there we go there almost once a month to really unwind.
-
I have no memories of Ben as a baby. When he was a kid, he had the this mullet thing going on and he always wrapped the end of it with rubber bands that came with our produce.
-
For some reason, when I hit the teen years I never enjoyed Halloween as much as I did when I was a kid. Halloween was always fun as a kid. A lot of my cousin lived on the same block as me so we always did Halloween together. We used our pillow cases for candy bags. My parents would always go through our candy at the end of the night and selectively pick out most of them. By the end of the night our yield was less than a quarter than what we worked for. JR and I found the stash later....

@ Tita Lita's House. Christmas was GOLDEN when we were kids. I dont know if things were packed differently back then or maybe things just got smaller, but every year, we would come home with black trashbags FILLED with gifts. The memories of coming home and going through them all will always stick with me.

Ben always got a chocolate cake for his birth-monthiversaries.

My favorite Brentwood memory is... meeting all of you.
I want to be remembered for... being a good friend.
My goals for the future are... to be a doctor or be a businessman.
My final words are... to my teacher: have a nice summer. -
