The Crusades
- The Crusades were a set of 9 wars between the Muslims and the Christians. They were fighting over Jerusalem which was considered as the "Holy Lands"
- The Crusades mainly took place in Jerusalem.
- One Historically important figure was Pope Urban. Pope Urban was the person to convince the Western Christians to get the holy lands back from the Islam Religion.
- The result of the Crusades were fought a very long time but, in the end the Muslim Mamluks took the Holy lands.

The Sri Lankon Civil war
- Buddhism and Hinduism both fought in this war. This dispute started when Sri Lanka became independent from Britian. Buddhists surpressed the Hindu who revolted.
- Mainly fought in Sri Lanka
- The Buddhist army or the Sri Lankan army were fighting against the Hindu army or the Tamil army.
- Even though this dispute lasted a long time, In the end the Buddhists were able to defeat the hindus ending the war between the 2 religions.

- Islam and Judaism were fighting over the holy land. The Jews and Muslims are still fighting so this dispute is ongoing.
- This is and was mainly going on in Israel.
- Hamas was one organization that used rocket attacks and bombings on the Jews.
- There were many people being killed and displaced. This war is still going on so the conflict is ongoing
