Works Progress Administration
Being a part of the Second New Deal, The Works Progress Administration had a purpose to employ unemployed people until the economy is recovers. In order to do this, Congress appropriated (set aside) 5 billion dollars for these programs, and established a national work relief program, which employed more than 8 million men. -
National Youth Administration
The National youth Administration aimed to provide employment and educational opportunities for young people aged 16 to 25, focusing on job training, student aid, and recreational. The National Youth Administration acted as both a relief and recovery program in the Second New Deal -
National Labor Relations Board (Wagner Act)
The National Labor Relations Board, also known as the Wagner Act, guaranteed the right to join and form an independent labor union and collective bargaining. This Act was a reform program as it aimed to protect workers' rights to organize and collectively bargain. This was a part of the Second New Deal. -
Social Security Act
The act was a reform in FDR's second New Deal. This act was created a fund to provide for old age pensions, disabilities, and was funded by tax on workers.
