March on Rome
Italy had little gains from World War 1 which led Mussolini to believe he could take power and implement his fascist rule. On October 24th the fascist party leaders planned an insurrection to take place on October 28th. This consisted a March on Rome of the fascists party. These were armies of fascists people known as blackshirts. These attacks led to Benito Mussolinis fascists parting gaining power in Italy. -
Beer Hall Putsch
The Beer Hall Putsch was a movement by Hitler to take over control. Hitler was trying to go against the Weimar Republic. On this day Hitler pushed into the Beer Hall Putsch with his army of people interrupting the political meeting that was taking place in the right wing of the Beer Hall. -

There was a crisis on wall street in America. Affected the spending world wide which ended up affecting Daiz plan. -
Nuremberg Laws
The Nuremburg Laws were laws enforced by Hilter to deprive the laws from the Jews. This deprived the Jews of their citizenship. They created laws that prevent Jews from getting married to people with legal German citizenship. Under these laws Jews were required to not fly the German Flag. A Jew cannot be a citizen of the Reich. -
Night Of The Broken Glass
This night the Nazi regime coordinated a wave of antisemitic violence in Germany. This was considered a nationwide riot. This violence was state supported vandalism and arson. Local Nazi set synagogues on fire. They also broke into home and businesses of Jewish families terrorizing and ruining them. -
Fall Of Paris
The long fighting led to the Allied troops loosing many soldiers giving the German troops an upper hand. The main attacks across the Somme and Aisne the French eventually broke through and succeeded in taking Paris on June 14th. -
Battle Of Britain
Germany launched a major offense to gain control of Britain using their Air Force. Britain effectively defends their country due to Radar and the superiority of Royal Air Force. Britain's resistance and counterattacks force Hitler to call off the operation. The Battle of Britain would soon become one of Britain's most significant win of the second war. -
Pearl Harbor
Pearl Harbor is a US naval base near Honolulu,Hawaii. This was a surprise attack from the Japanese fighter jet forces. Hundred of Japense fighter jets dropped down onto the base. They damaged nearly 20 American navy vessels. After this attack Franklin D Roosvelt declared war on Japan. -
Bataan Death March
Shortly after the Japanese had bombed Pearl Harbor they made their way to Luzon in the Philippines and attempted an invasion. The US and philipine soldiers were severely under supplied. Although these circumstances the American and Filipino troops were able to fight them off for 3 months until eventually having to surrender to the Japanese. -
Allied Invasion of Italy
The next move for the Allies after their success were to take a move against mainland Italy. The German forces in Italy resisted the Allied advance. More than half a year of heavy fighting this would lead to Germany's defeat and their eventual surrender. -
D-Day
At the conference in May 1944 this specific date was chosen for the invasion. As the came the weather was bad and it made landing conditions more threatening. On this night around 822 aircraft made their way to Normady Beach. On June 12th the American corps were able to join hands after they had an intense battle to capture Carentan. All these disputes came to an end with the defeat of Nazi Germany forces. This day became known as D-day. -
Battle of the Bulge
This was the last German offense of the war. It was named the Bulge due to the Allied Line it created. The temperatures were freezing and made casualties on both sides high. This was the highest casualties of the US throughout anytime of the World War 2. Many American divisions that took part in the Battle of the Bulge would later participate in the Liberation of Concentration Camps. -
Liberation of the Concentration Camps of Auschwitz
Allied troops moved across through Europe and came in contact with many gruesome concentration camps. They were disgusted by the horrors that were happening at these camps. The first major concentration camp to be liberated was Majdanek located in Poland. It was liberated in 1944 as the Soviet soldiers were pushing through Germany. These evacuated prisoners were sent further west to the other camps such as Aushcwitz. -
Dropping of the Atomic Bomb
Fighting began to come to a hault in Europe which led to the US becoming more focused on the Japanese. The US knew the Japanese would not given in due to their long time belief that they should not surrender as they believed that is dishonorable. This led to the US trying to find a new way to finish off the war. This led their ideas going to the Atomic Bomb. They decided to drop it in Hiroshima and Nagasaki due to those being populated and a center of production. -
VJ Day
As the fighting began to descend in Europe the US began to focus on Japan and how to put the war to an end. VJ Day eventually became the day know as victory over Japan Day. The US would quickly join in this celebration to commemorate the victories they felt.
