The Ming suffered many low blows from Japanese pirates. Despite instating constant patrols, the problem didn't cease. The Ming decided not to trade with Japan because of this. They also learned of Japan's plan to take over China through Korea. The Ming troops met Japanese on Korean soil and the battle went back and forth until the Japanese finally surrendered.
