This creation made the Systematics Classics of Acupuncture and Moxibustion. The text described 349 acupuncture points in twelve volume.

This time period was where majority of the acupuncture became more advanced. This was known as the Enlightment Period. Wang Gendung, in this dynasty, wrote 120 encyclopedia volumes which was called The Principle and Practice of Medicine.
People then began working outside of the primary meridians adding more points to the body and the addition of moxa sticks that help in indirect treatment. They refined and made new techniques and manipulated the practice of Acupuncture. -
