Incorporated January 24, 1894 and built 123.7 miles to Globe on December 1, 1898. It came under Southern Pacific control in 1904 but was operated as a separate entity. It was extended from Globe to Miami on October 8, 1909. It was consolidated with the Arizona Eastern on February 1, 1910. -

Incorporated March 7, 1894 to build from Tempe to Mesa, 8.33 miles, opened December 9, 1895. -

A consolidation of the Maricopa Phoenix Railroad (of 1886) and the Phoenix, Tempe Mesa Railway. -

Incorporated September 8, 1902, consolidated with the Arizona Eastern of 1910 on February 1, 1910. This company was formed in the interest of the Southern Pacific to build from Naco north to Cochise, where it connected with the Southern Pacific, and was projected on to Durango, Colorado. -

Arizona Eastern Railroad of 1904
Incorporated February 16, 1904, to build from Yuma to Phoenix and then along the Gila River eastward to San Carlos and Clifton. It was consolidated into the Arizona Eastern of 1910 on February 1, 1910. -

Phoenix & Buckeye Railway Company
Incorporated March 29, 1909 to build 50 miles from Phoenix to Arlington. It was sold to the Arizona Eastern on June 1, 1910 and actual construction was done by the AE.
