Coronation of Facticia
As the aftermath of the First Succession War (fought prior to the ascension of Magius Aeternus to the Ether), there were no male child of Magius who could claim his throne. Facticia, the 20-year-old daughter of Magius Aeternus with his last wife Pythonica, was proclaimed as the reigning Empress as the only surviving child of Magius. -

Coronation of Magius II Albus
Following the unexpected death of the young empress Facticia, there was no clear heir to the throne, as both of his twins (her oldest children) claimed to be her successors. The court discovered (through magic) that Magius Nigrus was conceived through the wandering spirit of Facticia's half-brother (and Magius's son), Proscriptus, and decided to crown Magius Albus as the next emperor. This was disputed by Magius Nigrus (and his allies), and eventually triggered a succession war. -

Coronation of Olympicus Magnus
Magius II Albus died heirless, as his remaining descendants died under strange circumstances just weeks before his death; Magius Nigrus is suspected of having cursed his lineage shortly before he died during the last battle of the Second Succession War. As a result of this, his younger brother Olympicus Magnus (who did not participate in the succession war) was proclaimed as his successor as Emperor. -

Olympicus Magnus reigned for almost 61 years, dying at the age of 110 and outliving his oldest son and heir apparent, Honorius. Therefore, Honorius's oldest child (and his grandson) Claudius succeeded him as emperor. -

Levitatus II reigned for 7 years and died heirless, with only underage relatives elegible as emperor. The country was fighting a war of expansion southwest of Magium and could not have an inexperienced ruler; therefore, Levitatus decided to adopt the general Tertius Rufus (who had recently conquered Dumnonia) to succeed him as emperor. Tertius ascended the throne and took the regnal name of Titanius III Dumnonicus, as first emperor without agnatic bloodline to Magius Aeternus. -

Augustus was a descendant, through a female line, of Olympicus II Scholasticus. He is believed to be the first wielder of magic, after the end of the Ethereal Empire, to become emperor. -

Throughout the reign of Claudius III there were a lot of speculation about his successor. Eventually, Claudius III became severy ill and people believed that he was about to select his men lover as emperor. When he died after reigning for 2 years and 6 months, the prince of Isauria (Flavius III) seized the power of Magium and killed Claudius's men lover. This triggered a major war throughout Imperium, known as The Civil War. -

4 months and 24 days after seizing power of Magium, Flavius III died in battle to a noble from the Pinna family (related to the father of former emperor Helvius), which eventually took control of the city as Levitatus VI. -

Just 1 months and 15 years after seizing control of Magium, Levitatus VI died in battle to the prince of Phocaea, which eventually proclaimed himself as Flavius III, considering the previous "Flavius III" as illegitimate. However, for a proper historic registry of the Civil War events, the prince of Phocaea is known as "Flavius IV". -

Flavius IV reigned for 4 years and 4 months over Magium, the longest reign during the civil war, before being murdered by poisoned wine. He was poisoned by secret allies of Cosmus, the military commander of Cyrene, which took control of the city as military commander and preferred to be known as "Legatus of Magius Aeternus", instead of "Vicary...", recognizing the prince of Cyrene as the rightful Vicary. -

After just 1 month and 20 days of Fabianus's rule over Magium, he died in battle to the prince of Icenia (Seius), who proclaimed himself as "Vicary of Magius Aeternus". Seius was the last de facto (but not de jure) ruler of Magium, who are historically considered as emperors, prior to the reign of Decidius Nepos. -

Decidius Nepos concluded the Civil War and is crowned as emperor
After 3 months and 19 days of Seius's rule over Magium, a general from Crusina named Decidius Nepos liberated the city (by executing Seius) and concluded the Civil War with decisive victories throughout the country. A wielder of magic, he was crowned as emperor and is formally known as the "Restorer of the World". His reign started the period known as First Electivate. -
