Students are required to fit into an educational box which sometimes does not fit into every students life. Some students are required to work, have outside interests, or have a different sleep pattern than other students.

Teachers are taught, in phases with check-ins, how it implement technology in the classroom. District and school wide initiative requiring teachers to use PLC meeting times to develop, collaborate, assist, and thier colleagues with the implementation. The intiative would include weekly "Check-in" with the school or district administrator to ensure the trainings are actively being used. Adminstrators are to report the the district monthly on the progress.

Walking through classrooms, students will be using their Chromebooks, phones, and peers to complete lessons in the classroom. The district/school goal would be to see 5 of 10 classrooms using some one of the methods taught from the training and/or use of technology. With the awareness that we will still see books out and paper used.

The next school year will bring more training just quarterly. This will allow the district to begin developing a college like structure for secondary school for the district.

Teacher gives the assignment and allows student to work freely and collaborate. The teacher is accessible and available when students need but does minimal lecturing.

Students are seen and accustom to coming to school and working collaboratively. Individual and group assignments are common to see content driven coversation, group decsisons and peer assistance. Students are given the freedom to share thier thoughts without interuption when composing work digitally.

The educational qualities needed to be college or career ready are in place and students are given the opportunity to choose thier path the next year.

We have created a bianry educational system where outside learning and the school house are still utlized for all students. The combinatio of the two systems allows for students to be College and Career ready when they have fulfilled the requirements and/or expectations for their futture goals.

Students will work daily on assisgnments with due date that may be weekly or long term. Students work at their own pace and this is seen through out the year.

of the Futurein JUSD" for secondary schools in the 2020 -2021 school year. Traditional school setting will be modified to 3 days a week with block schedule for teachers to lecture and leet with students. Students and families have the choice of courses depending upon thier future goals. Basic educational requirements, similar to general ed course, will be met for their college or career path.

Teachers will report to the building for 15 hours, 3 days week which will incude 3 hours for office hours. Teacher will be required to be available via the internet to address student concerns. Teachers will grade assisgnments with a specfic rubric that students can refer to.

Student are made aware they get a discount to travel to do research and gain educational enrichments

Teacher realize they cannot procrastinate either.

Students have the ability to travel to meet fellow students for a field trip, research, meet for a project or possibly to his internship program, While traveling he can read and find resources for the project.

Students have the opportunity to meet at the school building 3 days a week to coolaborate with peers face to face.

Student meet to do research for Biology course to research ocean sea floors and diversity of life in the ocean

Students will be able to graduate or receive a diploma of proficiency when they have completed the necessary course for their college or college goal. A student will not be required to take course which do not have a connection to their future aspirations. The standard age of expectation to receive the basic education will remain at 16. A student and parent/guardian can fine tune and personalize their education to their future goals.
