    A public works program that provided jobs for young men in conservation and infrastructure projects such as planting trees and building parks. It served as a relief program.

    Made to stabilize agricultural prices by reducing overproduction. It paid farmers subsidies to cut production of crops which helped increase prices and farmer income.

    The TVA built dams and provided electricity to rural Tennessee. It aimed to modernize rural areas.

    This act was made to protect workers rights and gave them the right to join a union. It also established the National Labor Relations Board to control labor disputes.
  • Social Security Act (Reform)

    Social Security Act (Reform)
    This made a pension system for retirees, those with disabilities, and gave insurance to the unemployed. This way, old people and those with disabilities would not be disadvantaged.
  • Fair Labor Standards Act (FSLA) (Reform)

    This act created minimum wages, maximum hours, and restrictions on child labor. It was made to protect workers rights and to prevent further issues regarding unfair working conditions.
