Romeo lovesick for Rosaline
Romeo is weepy about Rosaline not liking him. Benvolio gets him to go to the Capulet party later on so he can look for other women. -
Streetfight between Montagues and Capulets
Abraham and Sampson see the Capulets and starts a fight in the street. The Prince sees them and tells them that, the next person to start a fight will be executed. "Abraham: Do you bite your thumb at us, sir?
Sampson: I do my thumb, sir.
Abraham: Do you bite your thumb at us, sir?" -
The Capulet party
The Capulet family is having a party. Romeo and the other Montagues get in by wearing masks. Romeo meets Juliet and they kiss. -
R & J find out eachother's identity
Romeo and Juliet find out that they are enemies according to their family feud. So a relationship isn't allowed. Despite the family feud; Romeo isn't holding back. Romeo goes to Juliet's balcony after the party to talk to her. -

Wedding plans are being arranged
Romeo and Juliet have been talking, descreetly, and have decided to get married the next day. Romeo goes to Friar Lawrence to arrange a marriage. -
R & J get married
Romeo and Juliet get married by Friar Lawrence.
The Nurse helps Romeo by providing a rope so the newly married couple can consummate their marriage. -
Romeo seeks vengeance
Romeo revenges the death of Mercutio by killing Tybalt. He then runs off crying. -
Romeo gets exiled
The Prince banishes Romeo from Verona, because he killed Tybalt. -
Juliet is weepy
Lady Capulet thinks Juliet is weepy because of Tybalt's death, but she is actually sad about Romeo being banished. Lord Capulet arranges a wedding for Juliet and Paris for Thursday, to cheer Juliet up. Juliet is already married to Romeo though. -
Street fight between Tybalt and Mercutio
Benvolio and Mercutio meet Tybalt, who is looking to duel Romeo. Mercutio starts a fight with Tybalt, and gets killed. "Tybalt: Follow me close, for I will speak to them. Gentlemen, good den, a word with one of you. Mercutio: And but one word with one of us? Couple it with something, make it a word and a blow." -
R & J go their seperate ways
Romeo spends the last night with Juliet before leaving to Mantua. -
Juliet is suicidal
Juliet goes to Friar Lawrence and tells him that she doesn’t want to marry Paris and decides she will commit suicide rather than betray Romeo. -
Friar Lawrence's genius advice
Friar Laurence advises Juliet to fake her death by drinking a sleeping potion, so she can escape the marriage. -
Juliet goes along with the plans
Juliet "agrees" to marry Paris, to make the plan work. Her father becomes so excited and decides to have the wedding a day early. -
Juliet actually does it
Juliet takes the potion despite being unsure about the consequences. -
The Nurse makes a discovery
The Nurse discovers the "dead" Juliet. The Capulet family thinks that Juliet is dead. The planned wedding becomes a funeral. -
Romeo is caught redhanded
Romeo goes inside the vault, and steps right over to the coffin where Juliet is lying in. Paris sees him, and thinks that he wants to do something to the dead bodies. Paris responds by attacking Romeo. They fight and Romeo kills Paris. -
Romeo is not a happy camper
Romeo hears about Juliet's death. He plans to go to Verona to see her body, and to commit suicide in the Capulet vault next to his love, Juliet. -
Romeo is doing something he'll regret
Romeo takes the poison, that he got from the apothecary, just as Juliet wakes up. Romeo dies and then Juliet stabs herself to death. -
The hatchet get burried
The tragic love story ends as the Montague and Capulet families end their feud . It took their childrens death for the families to realize that the feud is childish.
