    The French and Indian war was fought between 1754 and 1763 and was a major conflict in North America between British and French with Native American tribes helping both sides. The war began in the Ohio River Valley when both Britain and France clamed land. finally in 1763 the British achieved victory and the treaty of Paris was signed. This war shaped Native American alliances and helped us learn about territorial control.

    The Declaration of Independence is one of the most important documents in American history. The document was written primarily by Thomas Jefferson. The document announced the 13 colonies break away from the British rule.

    The Boston Massacre occurred in 1770 when British soldiers opened fire into a crowd resulting in them killing five colonists and wounding serval others and simply lasted only a few minutes but has left a lasting impression on the history.

    The Boston Tea Party was a political protest that took place in Boston Massachusetts. A group of colonists known as the Sons of Liberty were angry about the British government's Tea Act. Even though the tea was cheaper the colonists believed it was unfair for Britain to tax them.

    The First Continental Congress met in Philadelphia Pennsylvania after the British passed the Intolerable Acts. The Congress also agreed to form the Continental Association that called a boycott of British goods.

    Battle of Bunker Hill

    The Battle of Bunker Hill was one of the earliest and most significant battles of the American Revolutionary War. Even though it is called the battle of bunker hill the fight took place on the Breeds hill. The British attacked with around 2,200 troops against about 1,200 colonial fighters. The British eventually captured the hill after three fierce attacks but had over 1000 deaths and the colonial side had about 4000 deaths.

    The Townshend Acts of 1767 was a series of laws passed by the British Parliament on imported goods in the American colonies. the colonial resistance was so large most of the Townshend duties were replaced in 1770 except the tea tax that later played a roll in the Boston tea party

    The Articles of Confederation was created during the Revolutionary War to bring together the thirteen American colonies. Under the Articles, Congress could make laws, conduct foreign affairs, declare war, and manage relations with Native American tribes. The Articles were ultimately replaced in 1789 by the constitution.

    After months of defeats George Washington took about 2,4000 troops across the Delaware river to launch a surprise attack on the Hessian troop that the British hired from Germany. Washington surrounded the town and started there attack and eventually won with minimal deaths and captured about 900 of the Hessian solders.

    The bill of rights is made up of the first 10 amendments. These amendments were introduced to limit the powers of the federal government. The adoption of the Bill of Rights was crucial in securing the support of Anti-Federalists
