The Battle of Bosworth
Henry Tudor, from the House of Lancaster, defeated Richard III, from the House of York on Bosworth field in Leicester. According to legend, as he died, King Richard's crown rolled under a hawthorn bush. On the battlefield, Henry was crowned King Henry VII by one of his main supporters, Stanley.
