Arthur died and she was bethrothed to Henry VIII but he was too young to be married and Henry VII wouldn't let them get married because he didn't like Spain. Finally when Henry VII died and Henry VIII became king, Henry VIII married June 11 1509. She bore 7 childern that died before they had a successful pregnancy Mary Born February 1516.

King Henry VIII was born on 28 June 1491 in Greenwich Palace to Elizabeth of York. He was named after his father Henry VII. He was the second son of Henry VII but was always overshadowed by his older brother Arthur. After Arthur died, his father again took the throne. Henry never really liked his father and after Henry became king, he was sure to get rid of many of his fathers policies as well as executing many of his trusted servants.

King Henry was used to eating plenty but he was always either hunting or wrestling which kept it of. By the time he turned 44, a horse had rolled over him in a tournament leaving him crippled. His eating habits did not diminish and could not excersise, leaving him extremely overweight. Katherine's mother Maud made sure she received a high education even though her father had died as she was just a child. She was fluent in French, Latin and Italian and began learning Spanish when she was Queen. Before she married to Henry, she was married to Edward Borough,then got married to John Neville. Mary became queen in 1553 and in 1554 Mary married King Philip II of Spain.Shortly after their marriage, she announced she was pregnant but it was a lie. Mary returned England to Roman Catholicism. Protestants were persecuted and 300 are burnt at the stake thus the name Bloody Mary. Mary died on November 17, 1558.

Kathryn Howard was born sometime in the year 1521. She was the daughter of Lord Edmund Howard.Kathryn came to court at about the age of 19 as a lady in waiting to Anne of Cleves.Sixteen days after King Henry XIII when he was free of Anne who later had died of cancer, Henry married his fifth wife Kathryn Howard in 1540. Henry was 49 and Kathryn was 19. There were many rumors that Kathryn was cheating on Henry. This was later proved in court with enought evidence to get Kathryn executed.

Anne was arrested at Greenwich and was informed of the charges against her: adultery and plotting to murder the King.The Queen and her brother were put on trial.Some 2000 people came. Anne denyed all the charges against her. Even though the evidence against them wasn't there, they were both found guilty. They were to be either burnt at the stake or beheaded, at the discretion of the King.On May 19 the Queen made a short speech and after was behaded.

King Henry VIII wanted to have a boy but the wife he was with constantly had dying children quickly after birth. King Henry wanted to divorce his wife for another but the Catholic church did not like this. So King Henry established his own chuch, the Protestant Church. This way he could divorce as many wives as he wanted. King Henry ended up having 6 different wives. King Henry had tried conquering France several times in his lifetime as well as attacking Scotland.

After trying to reconquer parts of France he only ended up conquering Boulogne. He also tried conquering Scotland which only made the French and the Scots become allies. King Henry VIII eventually died at Whitehall Palace on January 28, 1547
