Saul defeated king Agag but he did not kill him or the best animals. He was told by God to kill everything but he did not. He denied doing it and said that it was the people -
Samuel had to come to do the sacrifice for Saul. Samuel was going to come but since Saul already waited 7 days and more people started leaving he just did the sacrifice himself. -
While Saul was still reigning after God had left him David was anointed king by Samuel then went back to his job as a shepherd -
David was going to attack Nabal but Abigal stopped him and gave him food so that he would not. Nabal died and David married her. -
Saul was wounded but did not want to be killed by his enemy so he asked his armor bearer to kill him but his armor bearer refused, so fell upon his own sword and died. -
David became king in Hebron and defeated Saul's family who wanted to be King. -

David killed Uriah his friend then married his wife Bathsheba -
Adonijah wants her as his wife so that he can have something of the kings so that he has a possibility to be king. Adonijah did not want to talk too the king so he asked Bathsheba to talk to the king and she did. -
David became sick and died at age 70 -
Adonijah crowns himself king although David already said that Solomon was going to be King. Adonijah started celebrating with is men but then he heard a loud noise of the people saying Long live the King Solomon. Adonijah flees to the tabernacle because it is safe. -
The queen of Sheba came to ask Solomon a lot of questions to test his wisdom. Solomon was able to answer all of the questions so the Queen of Sheba gave him riches. -
David gave him many instructions. He built it out of cedar and cypress trees. He asked King Hiram to help him and he gave materials and workers to help Solomon. -
After they finally finished the temple Solomon prayed for the temple that it would be a house of prayer and that it would make God known over all the earth -
Solomon worship and built temples for the Gods of his wives. He worshiped Asherah and Moloch. -
Jeroboam rebels and Rehoboam goes to the elders for advice and did not listen to them. He went to his friends and they said to give more taxes. -
He did not want the people to go to the middle Jerusalem so he put a calf on each side. It led to the downfall of Israel. -
Alijah comes to Adonijah and tells him that he will have ten tribes and that he will be the King of Israel because Solomon has rebelled. -
Rehoboam was going to fight Jeroboam but God stopped him. -
After Solomon dies Rehoboam becomes king and makes the people mad by giving them a lot of work. -
He died and Rehoboam became king. -
Jeroboam goes to make a sacrifice and his hand withered -
God told him not to stop anywhere to eat but an old prophet came to him and told him to come in and eat. The young prophet said he could not but the older prophet said that God told him to come so the young prophet came. While the young and old prophet were eating the older prophet said because you have sinned and came here you will die before you get home. When the young prophet died the old prophet sent some people after him to see what would happen to him. When the servants came he was dead. -
Omri killed Zimri and was a very evil King. He reigned for 22 years. -
Omri was a bad king who defeated Zimri.

Abijah defeats Israel and kills 50000 men. -

Nadab was the son of Jeroboam and was an evil king who did evil in the sight of God. He caused Israel to sin. -
Basha was an evil king who reigned for 24 years. God told him that he would kill him and him whole family Those that die in the field would be eaten by birds and the others would get eaten by dogs. -
Elijah was one of the most important prophets.

Zimri killed all of the house of Baasha including king Elah and he became king. He reigned 7 days because he was attacked by Omri. He did not want to die from Omri and he did not want him to have the palace so he went in the temple and set it on fire and the palace fell on him dieded. -
Elah is the son of Baasha. He reigned two years then he got dieded by Zimri as because of the evil that his father did. He was an evil king. -
Elijah was told to go to a widow. When he went there he asked the widow for food and bread and she gave it to him -
Elijah and all the prophets of Baal went up to mount caramel and the prophets of Baal sacrificed and cut themselves all day and the altar did not burn. But Elijah poured water on his altar and prayed to God and fire came down from heaven and consumes the stones the water the sacrifice the sticks and the ground. -
Ahab saw a vineyard out of his palace window and he wanted it so he went out and asked the owner Naboth if he could have the vineyard but Naboth said no because the vineyard was his families. Ahab got mad and went to his room and pouted because he could not have the vineyard. Jezebel asked him why he was sad. Ahab told her so she ordered for him to be falsely accused and stone him. Ahab went to take the vineyard and Elijah met him and told him he would die and his children. -
they went into battle singing and won without killing any body -
Jehoram is the 5th king and he was a bad king. he ruled for less than 8 years. The Edomites defeated him as a punishment

They surrounded Elisha and his servant came to him and said that the Syrians are here and they are going to win but Elisha said the number of us is greater than the number of the Syrians. Their eyes were opened and they saw an army of angels. Elisha prayed and all the people were blind. Elisha led them to the city of Samaria and fed them supper and sent them off instead of killing them like the King of Israel wanted. -
Elisha said that tomorrow 1 shekel will be the price of 8 liters of good flour. There were 4 lepers outside of Samaria that decided that if they are going to die anyways why not go to the Syrians. They went to the Syrian's camp and no one was there so they took the stuff and started hiding it. Then one of them said that they should tell the people in the city that no one is at the camp. The people of the city went out and brought the stuff back and 8 liters of flour was sold for 1 shekel. -
Hazel killed Benhadad and became king.

Benhadad became very sick. He sent one of his commanders Hazel to ask Elisha if he is going to get better. He said Benhadad would die and Hazel would become king and cause trouble to Israel. Hazel goes back and kills king Benhadad. -
Ahaziah enquired of a false god to give a sacrifice because he was sick. He sent servants by the 50s to Elijah to kill him and fire swallowed them up and they dieded and Elijah prophesied that Ahaziah would die -
Jehu came to the palace and said is there any one on my side. Jezebels servants came and looked out the window and Jehu said if you are on my side throw Jezebel out the window. They threw her out the window and Jehu drove over her with his chariot. They came back to burry her but when they came they saw bones that the dogs had not eaten. -

Jehoash Son of a Jehoahaz became king of Israel. He reigned for 16 years. He did what was evil in the sight of God. He went to Elisha for help against the Syrians and Elisha told him to strike his arrows against the ground. He struck the ground 3 times and then stood up but Elisha got mad at him and said if you would have struck the ground more times you would have won more battles but because you only struck the ground 3 times you will only win 3 battles.

Athalia's son died so she decided that she would kill all the royal family and she did all except the one son who was hidden in the temple. She was a very evil queen and she reigned 7 years. -
Jehu said that he was going to worship baal like no other king an he would have a big celebration and he told all the worshipers of baal to come then he sent in his servants to kill them. -
Jehoahaz went into battle against the Syrians and cried out to God for help and he sent them a savior and the Israelites won. But after that he went back to Idol worship and he was defeated by the Syrians after that. Almost there whole army was gone. He was the son of Jehu and was the King of Israel. -
Joash became king when he was 7 years old and his uncle gave him instructions and because of it he was a good king. He started to rebuild the temple of God. But when his uncle died it went down hill.

Amaziah son of Joash became king of Juda and killed the people that killed his father. He was going to war and he was going to team up with Israel but while they were geting their army ready and man of God said not to go to war with Israel. He went and they won because he called on God. When they brought the spoil back he started worshiping the Idols but then a man of God told him to stop then he repented.

He was the son of Jehoash. They made a conspiracy against him in Jerusalem and he fled Lachish and was killed there. He was one of the strongest kings who reigned 41 years.

Uzziah was a good king who made Judah strong. He did what was right. He won battles and he worshiped the Lord but he became proud and then he burned incense in the temple and was struck with lepersy.

Joash's counselor died and the princes started giving him instructions. They led him the wrong way. Zachariah a prophet of God the next in High priest in line went to tell Joash to repent. When he got there he was ordered by his brother the King to be stoned in the temple and he was. Because he killed Zachariah Joash was killed by his servants. -
He was a good prophet of God who prophesied to the Kings of Israel.

He was a bad king. Ahaz was 20 years old when he began his reign. He burned his son as an offering. The Syrians attacked Judah. He moved the altar of God outside of the temple and put it outside his house and used it for Idols. They took them captive and let them go.

They had a Passover and Hezekiah offered thousands of animals for offerings to God. -
Hezekiah was one of the best kings of Israel if not the best. He rebuilt the temple and brought Judah back into worship of God.

Judah was surrounded by Assyria and the king of Assyria sent a messenger and told them to surrender but they did not. Hezekiah went to God and prayed. They sent another messenger that said they would destroy Judah. He brought the letter to the temple and prayed to God and god sent the angel of the Lord and he destroyed Assyria. -
Hezekiah became very sick Isaiah the prophet told him he would die but Hezekiah changed God's mind and he let him reign 15 more years. -
Manasseh was a very bad king who worshiped every single God he could find. He worshiped idols and witchcraft. He put the idols in the temple and worshiped them. He was the longest reigning king.

Hezekiah wanted a sign from God and God made the sun go back 10 hours. The Babylonians came to him and to ask him what happened he saw that they were a powerful nation and he wanted to make them happy so he showed them every thing including the temple. Then Isaiah told him that because he did that Babylon would come and destroy them in his sons day. -
Manasseh was taken captive by Assyria and then sold into slavery to the Babylonians. He then repented and prayed to God then him built up all of the alters and the Gods that he made were destroyed and he worshiped God and he changed from the worst king to the king with the best ending. -
When Josiah was 8 years old his father died and he became king. -
He started his reign when he was 8 years old reigned 31 years.

in the eight year of his reign he began to seek the God of David his father. -
Josiah destroyed all of the idols and killed the prophets and sprinkled the dust of the idols on the prophets graves. -
In the eighteenth year of his reign he restored the temple. -
Josiah rebuilt the temple and while he was rebuilding he found the scroll and he tore his clothes and turned from all the wicked things that they were doing.
