The Treaty of Paris declared that give up all their territories in North America. This included territories under Canada and East of the Mississippi River. This meant that all former agreements were thrown out the window and had no more value. One of those agreements included the agreement of letting Native Americans keep their land. Without this agreement, the United States had every right to the Native American's lands by conquest.

On August 7th the United States Senate makes the Treaty of New York. The was an agreement between the United States and Creeks. A Native American Tribe. The Secretary of War Henry Knox and the Creek Cheif Alexander Mcgillivray. This would seperate the lands between the people. Moving the Creeks to the EAstern Border at the Oconee. This treaty also promised to give livestock to allow the Creeks to farm instead of hunting. They would also provide an anual salary of $1,200 for trading.

Arthur St. Clair was a Northwest Governor. During his time, he led an event that led to hundreds of casualties. He led an expedition where he planned to cause harm to the Native Americans in the Ohio Valley. In the early morning hours, he planned to make his attack. He led the attack that led to 1,400 men injured and more than 900 casualties. During this attack, only 24 out of his 1000 officers made it out unharmed. President George Washington forced St. Clair to resign his post as governor

After the Treaty of New York was signed the creek chief Alexander McGilliray was not happy. He was dissapointed by the governments poor enforcements of their deal. They were not given the tools nor the livestock to start farming still forced to hunt. Instead of fighting back Mcgillivray makes a deal with Spain. They made the Treaty of New Orleans where they both agreed to resist the American land barriers against the Creeks.

A general named Anthony Wayne led a troop of soldiers to defeat a confederacy of Natives. This troop consisted of more than 5000 troops. These troops consisted of 60 to 200 soldiers. General Wayne led them to beat the Shawnee, Miami, Delaware, Ottawa, and Ojibwa. This was called the Battle of Fallen Timbers, and this battle led to the Treaty of Greenville, which led to the Natives surrendering most of their land near the Ohio River.

Cherokee leaders met with Major Ridge in Washington, D.C. There, they had a meeting with President Thomas Jefferson. In this meeting, Jefferson proposed an idea. He offered to relocate the Cherokee tribes west of the Mississippi River but promised to improve their lives. He promised a "Civilized Life," he promised to implement fixed laws and a government. To help create a civil place for them to continue their lives. The Cherokee Chiefs declined this offer.

Another Force of 1000 men was made against the Natives led by General William Henry Harrison. This was led against the Natives on the Tippecanoe River. General Harrison's men went to defeat the Northwestern tribes. These tribes came together to try to keep their lands, they were forged by Tecumseh and Tenskwatawa.

The Cherokee leaders decided to add on a national constitution. This would lead them to a decade of political development. Adding this constitution would complete the three branches of government. Those being judicial, executive, and legislative. With these three branches and a bill of rights, this would transform Cherokee political power. This would turn their village into a national government.

Congress authorized the President, Andrew Jackson, to take ownership of their Native American lands. They took wanted to pursue ownership on the lands east of the Mississippi River. In exchange, they gave the Indigenous people land west of the Mississippi River from the public domains. This act was named the Indian Removal Act.

On May 28, 1830, Samuel Worcester and several other missionaries were arrested for taking Cherokee land without a license. They were sent to prison for 4 years. A year later, The Supreme Court enforced white residents to have a license as to not violate Cherokee Rights. They ruled the Cherokees as a separate nation as to obey authority laws because they were ruled as only a federal government.
