Wilma Rudolph sets Olympic record
In the 1960 summer Olympics Rudolph is the first US women to win 3 gold medals in one Olympics. She also broke an Olympic record in the 200 meter dash. The record lasted for 8 years. She appeared on Ed Sullivan and and What's my line. -

AGE tour begins - Portland IN
The tour starts in Portland IN and stays in the midwest:
Decatur, IL; Casey IN (near Indianapolis); Owensboro, KY; Kansas City, St. Louis, Iowa, for example. In December it planned to move to Maine but those events were canceled because of the bus crash. -
AGE last tour date-Dayton, OH
As the tour bur was leaving Dayton on 11/30 for Lewiston, ME to play on Dec 2, there was a collision on the Ohio turnpike that injured KF, the driver and a basketball player. The tour was cancelled.
